Nothing stays forever, this season will too pass. I am 56 and believe me when I tell you there are times in my younger life I thought it was over. The fact that you can realize its a challenge for you its already a big plus. One thing that changed my life was the day I decided to work towards what makes me happy and ignored everything and every other voice against it. You get such freedom when you realize that most of probably what you think you need, you don't. Life has a way of enslaving us without our knowledge.

Regarding layovers, and the layover time counts "plane to plane"...does that include unboarding the passengers? I know that FAs are not paid for boarding and unboarding time (except for Delta FAs).

Have you ever thought about sativa pot gummies with cbd also. They aren't expensive and really helped with everything, including my digestion! It also helped with me randomly eating for no reason. I also eat really healthy. You have to start out with small amount, like half a gummy. It really helps people like me with add. It relaxes me, and i stop worrying about how much i have to do, and just focus on stuff i NEED to do. Just a suggestion. Good luck Sam.

I use berberine and since I started my intestines process food better so I don't have diarrhea anymore. It does not lower sugar but the food you eat is processed better. I use 500 mil max. Ozempic causes stomach paralysis.

My heart goes out to you. I deal with anxiety at times. Sometimes it can get me down. A lot of this may be chemical or hormones. Don’t be hard on yourself about the house situation. It will happen in due time. Your health is more important. Thinking of you.

Hi Samantha. Coming out of a two year slump where all I did was sit and watch you tube all day and even into the early mornings. I have a son 36 yrs old with SMI. I know ALL to well what mental illness can cause a person. Yet for 2 yrs I allowed it to rule MY life. I don’t have mental illness but the Stress of 24/7 dealing with my loved ones (yes more than one) mental issues for 38 years finally broke me. Sooooooo my dr finally said you need help. You are killing yourself with stress. I’ve gained 22 lbs and I hardly eat and when I do eat it is clean. Anyway after saying all that stuff back several thousand words ago, something flipped in my brain! I slowly weaned off the meds, and everyday I got up out of that chair, set my phone down and did something. Each day got better. It’s been two months now and I’m still decluttering my home. Inch by inch. My living room looks like a boutique ready to open. That’s how much shit I hoarded over the past 4 years self medicating with retail shopping. 1000’s of dollars worth of crap. It’s a deep dark hole. We all get in one when we spiral. Never in my life did I think this could happen to me because I have family with it and I know the signs. But it did. Honey I’m going to be 69 and I’m seeing light. My son got put in a crisis center and is still there so I blocked the number so I could have peace for just a couple weeks to focus on my recovery. My health. I see you. I feel you. I know the struggle is real. Had I finally not relented to meds to help me through the darkest times, I don’t know what I’d have done. They should only be short term. Not a life style. Some people don’t get it. If you are suffering from crippling depression get help. It’s short term. I’m not an advocate for big pharma in no way. It took me 37 years to finally say Yes I need help. The organic way just couldn’t help me. But I’m off them, they saved my life and I’m among the living again. Well with my dogs in my house fixing the chaos from the last two years. But there’s hope. Let there be hope and give yourself grace. I’ve saved my son so many times I can’t count. But I couldn’t save myself two years ago without first admitting it, and secondly asking for help. I’m here, dm me if you ever need to chat with a stranger without judgment and living over half my life learning how to live with this in a healthy way. Best to you always.♥️

One step at a time. Make progress everyday - even if today is to continue with the same progress that you made yesterday. Write down your accomplishments and your next days objective...just make the targets achievable! Just one step at a time, plateau, then keep pushing forward.

My H had to switch to decaf for medical reasons. There IS good decaf coffee! As a result of his restriction, I have cut down my own caffeinated coffee consumption. (And to the commenter that pointed out that decaf coffee still has some caffeine -- well, so does decaf tea! To be labeled "decaf" the item must have below a certain level of caffeine -- something like has to have no more than 2.5% caffeine.)

I live in Michigan lower Peninsula and it gets cold and today it’s very cold with a little bit of snow flurries but I try to think positive. Ilove on my dog like you have your animals as well and just pray .I hope nothing but the best for youI’ve been watching your videos from day one have a good flight and have fun! 🎉May the good Lord bless you and everything you do ❤

I’m in my late 30s and you remind me of younger me a bit. I don’t struggle with depression but I had a really rough patch about 4 years ago and I went back to therapy. There is no badge of honor for pulling your self out of situation on your own. Getting help doesn’t always mean medication. It sounds like at the very least a therapist can help you prioritize some of your goals and explore some of your challenges. I finished saving for my house 5 years ago as a single female. It’s totally doable. There are also grants and programs to help you. A budget is a really good start to getting on track. A no buy year might have been too big of a goal😊

The first thing you need to do is stop putting pressure on yourself and stop making these goals that may not be achievable at this time and then it puts you in a state of depression it's almost as if you're sabotaging yourself take baby steps and don't be hard on yourself

You have such an interesting life, Samantha, and I appreciate your honesty. FAs in general have unconventional lives, but you have that even more so. First, you are a commuting FA, which seems to add quite the layer of further stress and inconvenience. What is your airline's nearest base? Is the COLA so unaffordable there that you couldn't afford a small apt? How far away is it from your family? I know that pets complicate a FA's life, so that's another consideration. I see stress from so many parts of your life -- I agree with the commenter who suggested that you could benefit from a life coach.

It is March 18 when I am watching this video. It sounds like you are ready to give up your goals. You cannot expect to accomplish everything in 2.5 months. You have to stick with it for years, maybe a lifetime. There is a reason that many people get a 30 year mortgage for a home. . I am retired and started working out seriously 2 years ago. Since I have enough time I spend 4 hours per day swimming, weightlifting, practicing yoga, and walking 5-6 days per week. Walking your dog is exercise but it is not a workout unless you are walking fast enough to work up a sweat or at least be short of breath. . While you might not have that much time every day, you can find an hour a day if your really try. Rather than working out when you are done with everything else, make it a priority and set a time, preferably early in the morning or as soon as you get to your layover hotel. . When you feel like not working out, tell yourself that you WILL work out today but you can take TOMORROW off if you need to. It will help you emotionally and mentally if you do work out even when you have to force yourself. . It is easy to give in and not work out. It is rewarding to accomplish your workout goal. . I accomplish more these days in a shorter time because I start my day with a workout.

Sam, mental health isn't something to play with. If you think you need help, please get it. If you need to vent, you know how to connect with me. On a different note, Tokyo is amazing, and you won't have a problem finding Vegan food there. Just say watashi wa niku to sakana wo tabemasen. You could also just eat rice and broccoli for a few days, rice is everywhere there. Have fun! P.S. you look amazing today!

@@SamanthaROlmsted I've stepped away from the world of TV shows, and started growing gourmet mushrooms to help with physical and mental health for myself. I currently have some fresh lions mane that I could dehydrate and send to you. You can put it in tea, or orange juice daily and get some great benefits from it, mentally. Please research health benefits for lion's Mane. If you want to try it, I can send you 60 days worth to test out. It takes about 30 days to notice a change. Lemme know Sam, I have plenty, and of course, wouldn't charge you.

You become a procrastinator when your overwhelmed with all your goals probably because you have to many. Just live everyday one day at a time. Long term goals are great but you don't want to have to many big goals. Like your house goal is cool but leave it at that. Getting stressed just causes issues with anxieties, ADDHD being triggered, Etc,. Need to just stop putting your self down ! I use to plan my next day with a list of items I needed to get done in my head that I knew I was able to accomplish so I knew it would bush me by bed time. Would always make me happy, and I would sleep so well because I met my daily goal and also was bushed, and with having uninterupted sleep is the best thing for rejuvenation and waking up with a positive outlook for the day. Sleep is real good for mental health you need it. But you also take notes and log all your stuff wouldn't that time be better spent by just doing what you need to get done rather than nit pick in a list that you make which takes precious time setting around documenting, and end up depressing you, causing you anxieties when things don't come together like you would like. Stay away from Ozempic theirs all kinds of class action lawsuits against the manufacturer of it rite now. Those bananas were great age and heathy for using in the bread, if you cook next time you said you were going to bake it longer because the bottom was still to moist. Make sure you cover the top of it towards the end with aluminum foil so you don't fry the top next time you make it when trying to get the bottom done. You could even use the broiler first to cook from bottom then shortly after getting it rolling from bottom first change over to the bake cycle coils towards the end of the cook cycle.

I would recommend continue to focus on building your savings so you can have a down payment to buy a house. It is a great investment. Plus, if you buy a house where your mom and your brother lives, they can watch over your property while you are traveling with your job or wherever you travel around the world. Congrats on your decision to drop Uber Eats…eating out is very expensive. Hang in there, we are pulling for you.
