Hey Sara, former Barnes and Noble employee here! 28:50: Each author/publisher marks books as "SOS" (Strict on Sale) or not. If they are "SOS", we are legally not allowed to put them out until their release date. This is usually what happens with large books to make sure that people can't get them early. If a book is not marked "SOS", then we are allowed to put them out whenever we want, usually when we get them!

I have a tip for the oil stain! rub in dish soap on the oil stain until it gets a foamy white, let it sit for a few hours and then wash with hot water it should come out! I sell vintage clothing and it honestly works wonders on a lot of stains!

Lovingggg the hour-long video!! Just a quick tip for your matcha whisk, if you soak it in hot water, the tines "bloom" and unfurl, which helps your matcha turn out frothier! The tines also get softer and more flexible 😊

I work in a bookstore in canada and there’s a list called s.o.s (strict off sale) which is where certain books are not allowed to go out on the shelves until the release date. If books that are on the sos list we can get fined by the publishers. If books are not on the sos list then they can be put on the shelves early.

Have you ever invested in an eyelash serum to grow your natural lashes? I would highly recommend if you’re interested & also you can do a lash lift with tint to your natural lashes. Hiyeee Sara! Idk if you’ve ever watched Jules Acree’s matcha videos but I love the way she makes her matcha. The game changer for me was heating my water with a kettle that has a thermometer. I learned from a friend in Japan that matcha tastes best with water that’s 180°F. I guess anything hotter or colder affects the flavor. That’s so wild!

I have a great mascara tip! I don’t know if you have these in the US but if you do, you HAVE TO try the Sensai 38°C mascara. It’s waterproof for cold water (tears etc) but disolves in warm water. No need for makeup removers or pads. You literally just splash your face with warm water and the mascara falls off. They have both a lengthening/telescopic and a volumizing version and they are both amazing! I’m never going back to a traditional mascara😍
