I relate totally to your approach to DIY. Use what you’ve got. Washing paint stuff on a narrowboat is a bit tricky. I love your vlogs 😊

The UK right of way paths are my main reason for loving the UK so much. We live in the USA rural suburbs and only 2miles from a major shopping area, but we wouldn’t dare walk or ride bikes to it because there are no sidewalks nor bike lanes and people speed carelessly in large pickup trucks down narrow roads. When we visit my in-laws in St Helens our favorite thing is to walk the paths into town even if it’s just to get a full English and turn right around and come home! ❤ We found a right of way app and have been just exploring all of them! It’s like going on an adventure!

We so badly need to foster walkable and bikeable towns in the U.S. We are too car-centric here.

You guys are the best on the tube... Had a stressful day trying to find somewhere nice in Worcester to moor. In hindsight should have stayed on the river moorings but we went onto canal through Diglis. But found a nice spot out of the city. Your vlog cheered me up. No anxiety now.... Thanks

Love the UK for the canals and the footpaths across other people's lands/fields. Can't do that here in the US. The last we would get here is to be yelled at and/or threatened with trespassing. Always love your vlogs. Hey Amy, where did you get that funky bucket hat??

I left before you arrived! I know that you are not keen on mushrooms, but the garlic and mushroom pizza was amazing. I have been visiting FARS for some years , the sheep all have unique personalities and you get to know them by name. Not far away is another smaller sanctuary , The rescue ranch sanctuary run by Sue Goat girl and her partner Jules. They welcome pre arranged visitors for a £5 donation xx

Poor Rufus, might need a nail trim so they don’t get pulled as easy? No public pathways here, have to go on roadways or the odd alleyway included in a community suburb design. There are some assigned walking paths though they don’t go on private property. They turned old railroad tracks into walking paths too though. The farm rescue was so nice, lots of cute animals, well done the lady who runs it. 👍🏼🙋🏼♀️

The last time I had to walk for two hours was because the car went into the garage - as much as the end result from your rambling was worth it, I would have called a taxi 😨🤔. Great vlog as usual - and i'm sorry Amy but I did have a chuckle to myself when you pulled up the pyjama leg 🤣🤣. I really like the green cabinet's - I remember when you painted them the first time - they did well to last that long (but they did need doing!!) 😊

Here in the US you can’t walk thru other people’s property you can get shot for that here unfortunately. England is so beautiful I would love to visit there one day I wish we had your walking trails everywhere like yall do but you have to go to a national park or local park trails to walk on pretty trails here. And I wish we had adorable sheep everywhere too I could pet on them every day.❤

Wal... Walk... Walking...🤔, what's this strange word you speak of?? It's like you're from a whole other country or something. Oh yeah! 😲, you mean that thing where you put one foot in front of the other as a means of propulsion? Yeah...no. Here in the US, we don't do that kind of stuff. It's too much work. 🤣😂 Ok seriously, I really love the idea of "the right to wonder" and how, for you guys, walking, biking... are all just a regular means of transport, not just for recreation or exercising. Of course, over here you don't just walk across someone else's property without their permission, or you might get an earful at the least. lol... Hope Rufus healed ok and is up to his normal antics. Thanks for another one. Take care.
@Risingstar03243 ай бұрын
Well, you two deserve those treats as you are real troopers for making that walk. Here in the US one does not dare walk onto another's property. So sad, but you would be shot, arrested, or in court. Not a friendly place to hike unless you are in parks or reserves. Sad...

Well I think I know why now that the cabinets color don’t look that great it’s because you got the Chalky Finish! You need a semi gloss finish it will look fresh and smoother and you will be able to wipe stuff right off of the cabinets if you get something on them. Because gloss or semi gloss is the best finish in kitchens and bathrooms because you can wipe stuff off of them easier.
