Hello my sweet friend! CONGRATS on the 10k!! That just awesome & I'm so thrilled for you!!😊 The first GW, the pictures you were looking at that were wrapped were very pretty! Second GW.. that white chair was really pretty! But the solid wood cane bottom chair..Mmmm I think i would have added it to my collection!😊 Its been that way with frames for me too, for awhile! I did pick up one the other day but its definitely going to need some rub & buff, and that's OK. While we were in NC visiting will family for the holidays i did get time to go to my fav thrift store, which sadly has fallen into the price jacking realm.🫤 But i I pick up 2 8×10 frames. Both are very pretty. But one was really thick & pretty heavy, very ornate & made from pewter. I did a google lens search & the exact frame is a wedding picture frame. I paid $2.50 & it retails for $50-60. Its in perfect condition so i did get a deal on that! I'm looking for a Better Homes cookbook dated 1964 or older. You see then everywhere, just not that date!🫤 I liked those pieces at 8:50, they were pretty. The old church sketching was beautiful, but that was a bit pricey🫢 That runner looks like one you'd use.. its beautiful! I love that tapestry like material & great price too! Oh I loved the old rusty wire basket, that would be so cool on the kitchen wall with greenery spilling out! The little pillar candle holder you picked up is beautiful! I have one somewhat like it in cherry wood, but its def not as pretty. It makes a nice little riser too. The planters were beautiful! You're exactly right, it really Is OK to walk out empty handed i do it more often than not! I enjoyed shopping with you today. And thank you for sharing your lovely pieces! We really are the same wavelength!! I came so close to picking up that cane bottom chair!! I stood over it FOREVER!! And that runner!! I’m looking to add more tapestry type material into our home this year…i just wasn’t sold on color palette and fringe. Although, I suppose I could have cut it off and added fringe in a differs color. I may go back! 🤣 I definitely have a bit of buyers remorse on the metal wall basket too…and the bag of lemons for that matter. I’ve been wanting to make a lemon topiary for spring. Hmmmm…I wonder if it’s still there. My mom had a similar BHG cookbook to that one I found too…I will be on the lookout for one with a 1964 or later date!!! Awesome Video!!!! The gift of thrifting is "finding or hunting" for that "special thing" for our home or wardrobe. Decluttering is a process of "buying" without having control of purchasing items we don't need. Enjoy thrifting without purchasing "every" "pretty" items we see in the store. When I thrift I ask myself two questions!!!! Do I need it??? and Where would I put it??? Only buy items that "fit" your decorating style!!! Thank you for sharing!!! God Bless!!!

It’s so easy to grab up a bunch of things, that we “may” be able to use or make “fit” into our decor for a good deal…but don’t really love. Very nice items! I am always surprised on how many nice Goodwill stores there are in other states. The three nearest me are really mismanaged. Things are not placed on the shelves, they are just piled up on top of each other, which leads to unnecessary damage as people rummage through things. One of the three has only huge bins that people, once again, rummage through. All that to say, I really enjoyed seeing items neatly displayed. Congratulations on 10k! I was only in there for a short time, as they were about to close...but it was overwhelming!! I agree on not getting a lot when shopping. I'm personally trying to decrease what I buy because you can only hold so much in your home. I'm personally decreasing the amount I get to only what I really like now.

Yes!! I’m a maximalist at heart, but only with things that I really love. I used to have a real problem with feeling like I HAD to walk out of the store with something. But the older I get the easier that has become. Buying less also helps with clutter control…and I’m all for that too! Thank you so much for watching! ❤️
