Banana peels are make roses bloom. An easy way to use them, is put in blender with some water, it will be liquid. That's the easiest way to apply to roses.

I was so happy to see your video up this morning! I enjoyed my morning coffee while watching your video. I live in Alaska and Alaska is actually a wonderful place for peonies. We have many peony farms here and we are able to produce peonies that are shipped worldwide. Our growing season is almost opposite of other countries, so while many countries cannot get fresh peonies, we have them. We actually have a large peony festival coming up. I thought that would be something you enjoy. ☺️ May God bless you and your family!

Love your videos! Thank you for sharing! I am learning so much from you. I love lavender too. I bought the variety "Phenomenal" and I plant it using regular potting soil but I put it in a 30 gal grow bag and then I put that grow bag in a big decorative pot. My lavender loves it. Had many of them in my vegetable garden at the end of each raised bed or on the corners. You do have to trim them... cutting back all the flower stems each fall. Next spring they green up and soon have flowers again all season until time to trim again.

oh my gosh, I am in PA also and had a feeling you were pretty nearby. I just found your channel the other day and subscribed. Then I saw your grocery haul and I shop at the roadside 10 market too! I love that little store. Great produce and snacks. I enjoy your videos (I'm into gardening and house stuff too) maybe I'll see you at the store some time, I live in Honey Brook on a couple of acres~ raising chickens and hanging out with my grand kids. 😊

Does the gravel run under the garden boxes? Is it there to help with drainage or just ease and more cleanliness tending to and getting the produce from the boxes? I want to try making the foccacia style pizza. Such a fun vlog🌷
@thisgoldenhour2 жыл бұрын
Thank you 😘 the gravel does not run under the boxes (the soil continues down the bottom of each box). It’s just nice for walkways, and to keep weeds from growing as easily!

Do you have a place that has a more severe slope. More like a hillside? I’ve had the same issues with lavender and when I read that lavender thrives on the hillsides of the Mediterranean I thought. Yay, let’s move to the Mediterranean but my husband said no. So, we looked all over our property for an area where we could make a rock garden hill. Then I had to keep from fertilizing them. The lavender survived better but they still didn’t survive well. I’ve just gotten used to replacing them every few years. Good luck. You have a beautiful life and a beautiful family. You’re a lucky girl. 🙏🏻

That pizza looked so delicious! I have one kale plant in my raised bed and didn’t know how to use it , I do not care for it raw ! So I’ll try it sautéed and on pizza also the onion greens ! Never heard of that ! Your garden space is beautiful I would have loved to actually go with you and help ! Gardening is a passion of mine ! And what a wonderful problem to have soul that is too good for lavender! I have lavender growing on each side of my front walkway . I made my own mix of soil for each plant it’s very well draining plus we have hot dry summers so it does really well ! I don’t have the soil recipe anymore but I’d google I’m sure you could find something.

@@thisgoldenhour Thank you! I was just watching a WITL video of yours where you talk about your sinusitis (same here… struggled for quite some time with head/sinus & GI issues). The only way I felt remotely better was on antihistimines. 👎🏻, am I right? I just found a resouce that cites salycilate intolerance in those with mold toxicity &/or MCAS-histamine intolerance so I’ve tried limiting them in my diet. I still have some GI issues (likely due to concurrent SIBO issues) but finally I can go through a day without a plugged nose, (most of) my post nasal drip and gnawing sinus headache. Hope this may be of some help. I feel your pain. I also think you are great, BTW. Thanks for sharing your story.
