Spending A Weekend Making Chocolate Cake (From Kiki's Delivery Service)

I spent a whole weekend making a very indulgent chocolate cake from one of favorite Studio Ghibli films, Kiki's Delivery Service. Mostly because I was craving cake.
Recipe adapted from Scott Loitsch and Claire King's ultimate chocolate cake recipe.

I would love to bake these cakes that would take 100 hours Im willing to do so but the 2 problems are is it worth it for that much time and i also don’t have time to make this cakes but if I did I would im also kinda impatient so I could not wait to eat them and would rather make a cake that would take like 30 mins which is probably impossible unless it’s a microwave one

Making a cake from scratch is always the best option. But, for those who don’t want to, or just want to use a boxed cake mix, there’s things you can do to make it taste amazing: replace the oil with butter and double the amount it falls for. So if it asks for half a cup of oil, use a cup of butter. Use milk in place of water, the higher the fat content, the better. Throw in a box of pudding mix.
