As much as I appreciate the ambition to not include a pause button to immerse an audience, it only ever hurts those who need it the most: a parent responding to their child’s needs, an employee picking up a call from their direct supervisor, etc. Some people really need to get over the idea that the mere existence of a pause button detracts from a game’s experience. It’s like asking streaming services to not include a pause button on your film.
