At last we won an away match.We were in the score but the rest belonged to us Gers. Mohamed Diomandé equalized at 37', 1-2 by Robin Pröpper at 49' and Cyriel Dessers in 86' locked the first away win for the new year 2025. The red card to Mohamed Diomadé was silly.😒😒😒😒

For the people who say the red card is a bad desicion. As a referee let me explain the rules. The rules state that if you try to hit your opponent, which is what the Ranger player is doing (you can see him swing), it is violent conduct! And violent conduct is ALWAYS a RED CARD. Hit or miss your opponent, it doesn't matter and if you like it or not, it's a red card offense. So the referee did see that correct and gave the correct desicion.

What constitutes as violent conduct is subjective depending on the officiating. Considering the tone the ref set early on in the match, that is nothing. The shoulder barge on Raskin immediately after was worse.

@@badly_dubbed2401 Shoulder pushes are allowed in the rules. Punching (or an attempt to) not, this isn't boxing. The referee is there to put up the borders for how physical the match can be. And had no other choice then show the Rangers player a red card for violent conduct. Do you have a timestamp for that shoulder push? So I can see it. Because I only work with what I see in this video.

clear as day, easy for Var to see. Diamonde intent was to injure the opposing player. rules stat straight red card. He has so many yellows this year. Very undisciplined player. Reckless, and no need for this in the game of Football.
