I wonder how many people realize just how melancholic a song this is. "Fire fire has killed their desire to not be cold as they expire" "Screams from the staring" "Flames scorching them though they'll be out soon" These are not simply metaphorical. This describes people being jettisoned into space via their ship's airlocks after being set aflame during a terrifying accident. I can not deny how absolutely beautiful the song is; each note exceedingly well placed, how well the song was executed, all that is awe inspiring. As is the imagery. It's so vivid... the description invokes a feeling of consternation, a wish you could jump in there and save the people's lives. But... we can't... when I first realized all this, I was nearly driven to tears. Thank you, SPG. Thank you so much. I don't know what I would ever do without your magnificent tales and tunes. I might resort to trying to make such things myself, despite not having anything more than raw talent and only the most basic of training... I could never thank you enough, simply for being who you are and doing what you do. -One of your devoted fans, Airk

I have never seen any crowd so happy, eager, and polite. And somehow, despite the number of bodies in the room, it didn't feel crowded to me. They opened with Suspender Man. I was floored. The story behind this is that they've taken a spin on the tradition of steam punk. In the Victorian age and industrial age children and women worked in factories, they were locked in in order to not take breaks or leave the conditions. In some instances, a fire would burn everything, along with the women and children locked inside, they take this piece of culture and apply it to an example of space as a resemblance of the future. 'They'll be out soon' refers to the flames being put out right before bodybags with the remnants, infamously photographed came out of the factories..

One of my all-time favorite performances by SPG, gives me goosebumps! Wish I knew about yall then so I could have seen this show.. definitely would've been on my bucket list. If there's ever an opportunity to, please come to Houston!!! Or at least somewhere in Texas.. or neighboring state.. lol
