I had the rare privilege of acting alongside these fine humans when we were at Grossmont College in 2007. We studied under a classically trained mime by the name of Jerry Hager, among many other talented teachers. I love how Spine hits soprano notes in some songs, baritone in others, and goes into a throat voice in Honeybee. It's a very difficult sound to produce and having the ability to do so plus having a wide vocal range while sounding sexy as hell is amazing to me. Also doing that while playing one of the many instruments he's skilled in and keeping up the persona of Spine.

Some other small details I love: - any time The Spine says "baby" - The Spine's costume changes to black and white during the bridge 2:38 - The costumes progressively adding more accessories (glasses, jackets, and belts oh my) 3:11 - 3:27 the twins slowly look at The Jon until he starts drumming again - 3:40 Rabbit's jacket blowing in the wind that's only affecting hers and not The Spine's - 3:44 melodica with distortion added???? These folks are just so cool, I can't get enough.

I don't know if it is because of my particular personal moment in life, but these guys have really managed to struck a chord with me. They are far from what I expected when I decided to check out a "Steampunk band that move like robots", they're actually much better than I ever imagined. I admire people who can stick to what they want to do even while being aware that it won't be everybody's cup of tea.

I just was turned on to this musical sensation by Spotify, and I am so blown away by these siblings and their bandmates. I have not been able to stop watching these videos since I became aware of their existence. Their voices and lyrics, and showmanship, and back-stories continually sweep me away with each listen. So grateful to have had my ears and eyes blessed by this incredible group.

I have listened to this song at least once a day for the past 2 weeks...I just can't get enough of it. I really love the way Rabbit moves in this, and The Spine's voice is just GOLDEN! I'm miss The Jon, I really thought he was great!

Fantastic job and truly an original artwork! Spending my evenings listening to Victorian steam powered robots singing are a necessity I didn't know I had until now. Cheers from Brazil.

Whenever I sing along to this song and I'm a bit emotional it always makes me tear up a little, the bits about explaining what it's like to be mechanical/different get me, and something about singing that deep, too.

Dear SPG, I've loved your stuff for years, but there's always something I should've said something back then. Your music calms me when I'm having panic attacks, and you're beautiful people for being able to create such calming music.

So I let the KZbin algorithm do it's thing a couple days ago and just let random songs play till I got to this band playing Honeybee and not even gonna lie, I was bamboozled at first... But then the next day I caught myself humming to it and now I'm about to spend the entire weekend binging all the albums and researching as much lore as my grubby little internet hands can find 😂. You all have frickin awesome music and i'm stoked to start learning this song in particular on guitar tomorrow, wish me luck! 😌
