The question put across by Latiff is what she would do if she was in power? Her response went like, throw in the towel since it wasn't a title deed. Incase you doubted that clearly no one is out there who has outright solutions for the current mess the country is in, that should assure you. They are only critiquing but when asked of solutions, they suggest giving up since the constitution takes place of such eventualities. I agree there is no lacuna but that will not solve the issues we have today. Matters governance are humongous and can't be solved by giving up. Its a long term fix that needs courage and patience. Martha just expressed her bitterness towards the current regime which she has always referred to as ilegitimate until today. I agree that we need radical changes matters governance but if this is who would replace Ruto, lets rather maintain the status quo. Same monkies, same forest.

M. karua has had her fair share of Gaffes, she was once upon a time a extremist in the Kibaki government, a controversial one that had its share of scams and heists...etc. M Karua is no virgin Mary, but she makes a lot of sense most of the time . She still carries the tag of a dyed in the wool mt. Kenya supremacist, old habits die hard, She is still a very ambitius politician with no holds barred. Hawa watu ni wagumu, ni masugu, wote kwa ujumla! I shall not Judge Martha too harshly, she has a consistency that I admire and subscribe to. Honesty and consistency must have some value.. surely. Unfortunately he makes this arguments in a forum where all the members are bound to benefit from such a raise. Who will be there to challenge that argument?
