I'm a high school small engine teacher. I bought a Crossfire for personal use and ended up bringing it in to my class to help with building student projects. I also run 3D printers, laser engravers, CNC lathes and mills. What machine and projects I'm working on varies from day to day so it can be hard to remember how setup each machine file every single time. Fusion 360 is totally separate from the table. That is just the software that Langmuir recommends. A laptop is ideal and the software is free for personal use but after a year you will lose some features unless you pay for the subscription.

@SpicerDesignsLLC Жыл бұрын
Sometimes when you explode text there are flaws in the transition. You have to zoom in on any letter thats not highlighting and look for flaws. Ill usually make a line across the letter to isolate areas to speed up finding the flaw. Then you have to delete that section of line and redraw it. Its hard to explain and i dont know why it happens. Maybe ill make a video on that.

I use it regularly...it's a game changer if you have a press brake and plasma table. Basically start with flat piece of your bracket, extrude to sheet metal thickness then go to sheet metal tab and convert body to sheet metal object. Once you've done that you can click edges and create flanges. Then you can create flat pattern which will allow you to generate a DXF to export for the plasma cutter.

Best disclaimer ever: Don't worry, I'll be making more videos with stupid sh%t soon. ha You have certainly put a lot of time and effort into learning this setup and it shows! Well done! I foresee "lunch and learn" webinars in your future. haha

Thanks for doing this video. So much easier to follow then the crossfire videos. By the way, what size air compressor are you running?

Ya theyre videos jump around a lot. Hard to follow. I just use a cheap 30 gallon husky. Its dont everything i need it to do. I have a video where i talk about all the equipment too.

@SpicerDesignsLLC Thanks for replying back. That's what I recently purchased too and it works like a charm. I'm amazed how crisp this plasma setup cuts. Not like laser, but good enough for what I want to do with it. Keep them videos coming. Great work!!!

It would be real interesting to see you install a PA system on the Kioti. I just ordered a CK3510se cab and thought of doing it to yell at the kids to get out of the way or holler at the wife for fun. It would be a great way to let KeyStone Girl know it’s time for a cold one while you’re in the field!

Hah. That would make a great video.

Great video Kyle. These are very helpful for me. Q. The Fire Control screen appeared to have straight sections of lines around the circumference but when watching the torch head and the finished part it appeared round. Can you explain? Thanks for sharing.

I think its just a generic display of the cut file. I dont think it has the same capacity as the auto cad software. Theres probably a more technical way to explain it.
