Spicy Eggplant / Pepper Eggplant - VEGAN ( Hakka Eggplant ) - Episode 936

In today's recipe I share with you my version of Hakka's popular Spicy Eggplant . I hope you enjoy and leave me your comments I want to hear from you. 💞
1 medium eggplant cut into cubes
2 cups oil for frying
4 tbsp corn starch
Salt to taste
20 bird peppers or chilli peppers
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp pepper flakes
1/2 tsp light soy sauce
3 chilli peppers chopped for garnish

I am not a vegetarian but when I tried this at Hakka I fell in love and have wanted to find out how to make it for so long.... Saw recipes online for Fried eggplant but nothing like in the style of trini/Hakka... So glad you did this... :)

Oh wanted to let you know that I made this yesterday. Came out super tasty. I put it in hops bread and ate it like a sandwich. I love anything vegetarian/vegan. Will definitely make again.

I have been trying to get this recipe forever - Everytime I go to Hakka I have to buy this and just couldn't figure out how it was made. Made it once and it was a disaster. Tried your recipe today and it came out perfect but between my daughter and myself it was eaten before I could take a pic- lol will be making it again later this week
