When I cut up veggies, I keep the clippings in a large bag in the freezer to use to make broth. I also keep chicken bones from roast chicken for the same reason. There’s always a way to get the most out of your ingredients. Keeping the shrimp heads and shells for later use is a great idea!

Im so sorry. An acquaintance gave me his cat and said the cat was 6. One day I woke up after 11 months of having him and he was dead. I took his body to the vet and the vet told me the cat was atleast 12 or 13 ( they can tell by the teeth). This was about 2 years ago. I have another cat but I still think about Sir Lancealot everyday. I'm sorry for your loss. Sad . wish cats had a life expentency as long as humans or atleast close.
