Thanks ... I have crispy fried the vegetables in with some panko crumbs then put it in the spice mix. Taste fantastic! Just leave the vegetables in the mix for 15-20 mins then have it with steam rice. Obviously my take is not authentic but taste great!

Your food always looks SO delicious! A local restaurant makes a couple of dishes I would love to see you recreate if possible….the first is a spicy eggplant in a thick spicy sauce, and the other is a stir fried mixture of eggplant, beans, tomatoes, okra in a belacan sauce! Keep up the good work, love your videos!

can i keep it longer than a month? and if i wanna give it away for CNY, when should i make it?
@nyonyacooking8 жыл бұрын
Hey Gab, I would prepare a week in advanced. You can keep it longer than a month if it is sealed tightly in the refrigerator, scooped using a clean spoon, etc. Anyway, just like how you would check other any refrigerated food, take a look in the bottle before enjoying them - incase of any spots of fungus.

hi. I so wanna try this. But i have 3 questions. 1. Can I use tumeric powder instead? If so, how much should I use? 2. what is the temperature of the oven? I didnt quite get it. 3. If I want to add pineapples as you suggested, at which point should I add them? Thanks :)
@nyonyacooking9 жыл бұрын
+Vlum88 Yes you can, I would only use 1/2 a teaspoon of tumeric powder. Temperature of the oven was set at 50 Celsius while the pineapples can be added along with the vegetables to dry in the oven. Good luck!

Sook Wilson of course it will be different but try substituting with some shrimp sauce (similar to fish sauce). I think that would help!
