The only figure I'll be getting from that wave is the final suit Spidey. It's stupid that Hasbro Removed the extra hands from Tobey and Andrew making the three pack more of a scam than it originally was. And it's also weird that they're using the licenses from the movies but I think it's because they're mainly focusing on the comics and any new movies out at the time, which sucks cuz I would love to have some variety like the X-Men movie figures they did.

I can't wait to see the new Electro and Lizard figures I do wish we got a moderized version of the original Green Goblin tho, because we did see him in the movie in 2 scenes. A broken mask and a scared Norman face would've absolutely made the figure worth it

Maybe it’s cause I’m more of a casual person who doesn’t really get into the whole collecting thing (love you’re content all the same) but I actually like the final swing Tom figure. It could totally pass off as a comic Spider-Man, and it actually comes with full sets of hands unlike Tobey and Andrew so for me that’s the most interesting outta the whole wave.

Great video as always. Here are my thoughts on the NWH wave- 1)The team saying the figures in the 3 pack costing 30 bucks a pop because of the difficulty to paint raised webbings was all horseshit, these standard releases come cost less. Baiting your customers is a lame tactic. 2)I had the exact thoughts seeing the final swing suit, physique wise it reminded me of the Diamond Select one from Homecoming. 3)I find it odd how Ock and Goblin both are Deluxe releases yet Goblin costs 10 bucks more than Ock. Goblin's body suffers from that ugly marble-y plastic look, and he comes with the Goblin helmet(which I initially liked being included), which wasn't necessary, since he didn't have it with the new suit, but the issue is that the neck's skin tone will be exposed even with the new helmet. It's like a half assed thing to do. I don't think that great Dafoe headsculpt and the Raimi Goblin helmet are enough to justify the 50 USD price(even with the glider) when these issues prevail. Ock is good though, but missing the golden paint apps on the tentacles.

Doc Ock is based on the No Way Home design despite what the package says. Look at the glasses, the hair cut, the turtleneck and most importantly the sculpt of the tentacles: their texture looks busier than it should be because they also sculpted the nanotechnology from Tom' suit, but they of course "forgot" to paint them red to cut costs. This time I don't mind the absence of paint though, I never liked the red tentacles much and this way you can pretend they're the Spider-Man 2 ones instead. I might add some yellow paint when I get the figure

Hasbro is on auto pilot all the way to the bottom. Wizards of the Coast is falling appart after a dozen scandals (remember when they sent out the Pinkertons to hurass a KZbinr?), They are being beaten at their own game in Masterpiece transformers (check out the top 10 releases of the last ten years, that list will be DOMINATED by third party transfomers) and starwars/marvel ultimates are collecting dust on a shelf. Spider-Man is ALL they have left and they are intent on dragging that down as well.

Doc Ock looks almost great for me, but honestly, seeing that the tentacles have the NWH nanotech details but just... unpainted.... kinda soured me on getting the figure. Yeah it's a minor thing, but also, c'mon, they're totally reusing this mold again, it's Marvel Legends. I'd rather wait a couple years for them to rerelease it with proper tentacles than to spend 40 bones RIGHT NOW, ykno? And then Green Goblin is fantastic, honestly; if you like the NWH costume then it should be a must-buy. That said, seeing Doc Ock use the Spider-Man 2 branding, and seeing how much effort was poured into this Goblin? Oh, they're guaranteed to rerelease this boy with the clean original-film costume. There's 0 chance they won't. And as someone who doesn't want both minor variations, I'd rather just wait for the version I prefer, that being the SM1 costume. Again though, I know many people think the NWH one is even better, and I like it too, so if there's any figure to get here then it's definitely that NWH Gobby for them. ...Damn why did they have to get greedy with the Andrew Garfield hands, thoughhhhh

If I were to buy any of the villains it would be green goblin, it looks beautiful, the gliders great, and the addition of the helmet head sculpt is amazing since I really do love the helmet. Out of the Spider-Men it would definitely be Andrew Garfield, any others are pretty expensive, I’ve already got the figuarts Tobey, also I like the look of him anyway, it’s a great suit design. Even though he’s clearly not as good as the figuarts, I still think it would be a good addition, the packaging is really nice too, branded as TASM 2 which makes me feel a bit warm and fuzzy inside, and it’s not windowless. Doc ock is pretty awesome as well, after all these years there’s finally another Alfred Molina doc ock, and it’s branded as Spider-Man 2, even though he’s clearly from no way home. A few are good, most are bad.
