Thank you! I transitioned to the Aray series about a year ago and love them for many reasons. However, I would like to see remote dimming in combination with remote drivers. For example, when the driver's on the outside of a room or big tent, so is the dimmer, which makes it a pita to adjust on a daily basis during stretch... set the height, check the par, leave the room to adjust, go back to the room to check the par, leave the room to adjust, check the par, and etc. In my situation, I would like my drivers to remain high (no pun) in my room with an exhaust duct moving air over them while having the dimmer function across the room near my environmental control panel. Just a thought for a fast-evolving industry. Be well and stay safe!

At that price the drivers will be very cheap and the lowest bin diodes. They will probably still be more efficient than HPS lights, but won't get near the efficiency of the top end LED fixtures. I doubt they will last long either, but if you get a couple of decent grows in with them for that cheap then who really cares lol.

Such high wattage for that area! I know that you've measured all this stuff, but I've seen small 1 plant grows using 50w LED knocking out 80g autoflowers in 40x40. And a 150x60 box with 104w of those new Phillips bulbs doing 220g on 3 plants. Having seen the canopy, it's hard to imagine more power = more flower. And these guys are just regular dudes who barely use food. Maybe it's just the quality genetics available these days? Still, can't get my head around needing 860w in 120x120. Must be growing monstrous plants.

CRI is how accurately we perceive reflected colours in that spectrum, compared to sunlight. It doesn't effect light intensity or photosynthesis, just a more balanced spectrum.
@mrnice752 Жыл бұрын
@@CL-ty6wp Read my comment again. 80 CRI white is still very close to sunlight, the higher bin 90+ CRI diodes are mainly for artists/photographers who want perfect colour spectrum. For plants it is mostly irrelevent and diode efficiency is far more important than CRI rating.

@@daveselbow9128 I bought the uva with the g. Only reason I have the G. If you don’t think you will have a problem with cooling then you would have no problem getting this light. This light performs very well but the bridgelux diodes just run too damn hot. The driver also runs hotter than the SE series. In my case I ended up spending more money with the g than if I would of just gone with the SE. I had to build another ventilation duct for the room so I now have 3, I bought a portable ac which is almost half the price of the light. And extra heat from the light also lowers humidity so I had to get another humidifier. I had to completely change the way I did things in my grow room because of this light.

Hi. At PAR intensity above 1,000µmols plants have difficulty in photosynthesising at that high a rate so light is wasted. Higher CO2 enables the plants to 'breathe' better and photosynthesis at a higher rate
