I almost wish this movie could’ve give Spider-Man as many funny talk scenes as Jonah Jameson has but for comic book movies back in a day I can understand why Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man did not crack many jokes as Andrew Garfield & Tom Holland did. When the Spider-Man trilogy came out, people still didn’t took comic book movies seriously yet mostly because they followed the source material even less than this movie, Sin City, and the X-Men movies did. So they have to take baby steps of making Spider-Man more dramatic than saying funny jokes so that future comic book movies can take more chances & Hollywood will be ready for making the most famous cinematic franchises we know today.

Saw the first on the 15th and the second yesterday. I have to drive out of town to catch the showings since they aren’t showing the films in my area (Thanks a lot Sony). It’s honestly worth it. Watching these movies in the theater with a good crowd is something you barely get to experience.
