The symbiote often influences Peter’s personality in negative ways whenever he gets it so I’m really excited to see how Insomniac goes forward with the story! Especially with Harry seemingly being in this game and how maybe The plot of the first spider man game will fuel Peter’s anger 😁

I’d like to know what you think on this because I wonder if Harry is Venom early on, and Peter gets the symbiote later, or it’s the other way around and Peter has it early on and Harry gets it later? I also highly believe there’ll be SOME kind of altercation between Miles and Peter in the story, like Miles is trying to get the symbiote off of Peter.

Well in the original comic, the symbiote never corrupt Spider-Man it's just want to bond with Peter permanently. That change when the Spider-Man animated series started.

I love the Kraven reveal honestly. I saw one Twitter comment that kinda summed up my thoughts from beginning to end. I was worried that first guy was the modern interpretation of Kraven, which you know, way too dumb down design. But then the REAL Modern version of Kraven appears and he looks immaculate and terrifiying and we are here for it

Venom is going to kill kraven in this game he's going to fight Peter while Peter has the symbiote suit the first time and Peter's going to absolutely destroy him, then Craven comes back for round two thinking he'll have the upper hand this time but instead of a symbiote suit Spider-Man he accidentally attacks Venom, and will then I'm doesn't hold back against him at all and just ends up eating and killing him

The Kraven fakeout in his trailer was great, you think it's the first guy but then he just appears behind him, awesome. Gameplay looks fantastic and I'm curious what other Spider-Man characters will show up. A Green Goblin appearance would be great but I think they might save him for the future since Kraven and Venom will probably be our two big bads

I love how, with the symbiote on, Peter is thinking more on raw emotion rather than logically, since the symbiote feeds on and embraces the emotion, specifically negative, of the host. I may be wrong but I think it's a nice touch.

I love how parts of the suit looks like it's just muscle and that the eyes change slightly, showing the Symbiotes gradual takeover of Peter

It makes sense that Peter is turning to the dark side because on the first Spider-Man on PS4 we know that Uncle Ben is no longer there but then he loses on May at the end. You can see he was emotionally broken I don't know when Spider-Man 2 takes place maybe it's a year later but it seems like he hasn't recovered from losing his loved ones. And his emotions has turned into grief which turned into anger and I think the Symbiote sense that and seaked Peter out take advantage of his pain. And it seems like you're going to have to fight Peter in the game and I believe he's going to see Uncle Ben's Spirit that's going to get him back to his senses.

Fun facts:In the movieof the amazing spider man 2 end credits scene you can see the schematics of the sinister 6 gear and you can see the spear with a lion mark on it meaning kraven will be in that universe

We will undoubtly get a Miles vs Peter fight. I just love Yuri's more aggressive tone while Venomized, gives me '94 Spider-Man series vibes. Also love the details, and i do hope there's more when Peter is using the symbiote. Such as his finishers do look to be more impactful, his fighting style pack more punch as in he's not holding back, and his eyes to form the Venom eyes when he says, "so do I."

Great trailer and a great reaction. Venom certainly messing up Peter mentally since he is doing things that he wouldn't normally do. Simple example where the last person he saved he just tossed away. Or when he focused more on fighting then helping. This I was going to be such a great series. Definitely blow out when it arrives in the fall.

HOT TAKE TIME, UNCLE GRAMMA: Naw. Mean symbiote makes Peter mean is actually a weaker story than the original, where Peter simply couldn't handle how the symbiote wanted to be active all the time and was simply out of his league in taking care of the symbiote (this happened when Peter and MJ were having major trouble in their relationship) so Peter literally abandoned the symbiote. Needless to say this didn't go over well, and Eddie Brock finding the symbiote of course made things way more "interesting".
