Different versions of a character (such as Gordon in The Batman) can be benign enough. What reason was there for those changes? The greater issue is that you *don't* see the problem there, and I can tell you why: it's because YOU'RE the racist. You cheer when racelifting happens because you view white culture as the only valid one. You could be cheering for the creation of black characters and stories, but that would mean also representing their culture, which you see as not worth your time. You want the benefits of an inclusive bubble without actually having to work for it and really include anyone. You just want white people in shades of non-white because the thought of actually having to try and understand places in the world that aren't California terrifies you. Ill be the first to say there is a lot wrong with Spider-Man 2 and it's story, but how can someone make an hour long video about how "woke" it is. My big thing with the story is that I think the black suit should’ve had more time. We don’t really get a bunch of time to see how it affects Peter, and I think the story could’ve used missions where he’s openly aggressive or completely disregarding public safety. In addition, that would also explain why the public is so scared of the suit. We don’t really see Peter do anything other than be a dick to his friends, so Danika talking about the suit kinda just comes out of nowhere. Also, I definitely agree that the third act was super rushed

I'll simply say this, I was mostly with you on some of your earlier points. Although there are conversations to be had about poorly written dialogue and overall poorly constructed narratives. These things are independent of the whole woke argument. But your argument fell into ruin on the back end of your video. First of all, once you dove off into ad hominem attacks you lost the mission. I always tell people that if ever you want to look lost in a discussion or debate, just start slinging personal insults. That's a clear indication that relevant talking points have all but dried up. Again I was in agreement with you on some of your points, but the MJ discussion went sideways. You can't in good faith claim to truly know spiderman if you ignore actual relevant history or facts. Such as the fact that MJ was originally a super model / actress. Secondly the real insult to the model they scanned for her face is how they mutilated her features to make her less attractive. That's just wrong on so many levels. Just hire an average looking woman instead of morphing a beautiful woman for some anti male gaze nonsense. Don't mention that model if you're not going to be honest about her. How is changing a real girl's face to look worse realistic? A REAL human being is not realistic? Make it make sense. Learning vengeance isn’t the right way is a classic superhero thing, hardly unique. I’d like more passive features of his character. Things that only he can have, that make him distinct. Like the difference between Dick Grayson and Jason Todd in DC, they’re both Robins and good guys, but they do not feel like each other in most ways. The overlap of personalities is small. But with Peter and Miles in this game, the overlap feels bigger to me, too big.

The Scream scene/dialogue is horrible sure, but it's because it's completely undeserved and because the symbiote storyline in this game is trash with Peter essentially not being guilty of anything he said or did. This shit could have been so good if it was naturally built up to, but nah, the problem is Peter apologizing to a woman obviously. The compliment club there is no issue with technically, I just thought it was painfully unfunny, as was a lot of the comedic writing in this game in general. PS4-Man didn't have any crazy laugh out loud moments either but I definitely remember having a chuckle or exhaling through my nose during that a couple times. Disagree on the Miles thing btw. Batman is Bruce Wayne. I have yet to see someone in the real world say Batman and mean someone else. When people refer to Batman Beyond or something, notice how they say Batman Beyond, not Batman. It's just like how Spider-Man means Peter Parker. I never understand why people take so much issue with that all of a sudden. Peter apologizing wasnt the issue. It was that he was forced to apologize for things that werent his fault, or were beyond his control. The black suit affected his mind, so mj should have said "Dont be sorry, that wasnt you.." And Mj turned scream was blaming him for her working for jameson.
