I don’t care what anyone says topher grace did a great job as Eddie and venom he had the same hair color and personality from the comics he may have not been that buff but he did work out for the role and he looked great in the venom suit he may have not been 100 percent from the comic but Sam wanted a evil version of Peter basically

Topher grace was the only Evil venom ever created, he was sinister and psychopathic, Topher was a villain in this Movie, he wasn’t a anti hero joke just like venom in the comics or Tom Hardy’s version. He was a demon in spiderman 3. and when venom slowly became a creepy version of spiderman and took his form that was scary. That’s why he was so skinny because he was the opposite of Peter. and he was way more terrifying then carnage Venom in 2007 was perfect.

I wish they kept the scene of Eddie reacting to Spider-Man kissing gwen and Eddie breaking up with gwen, it’s such a huge part of his character and motives, there was also a scene of Eddie sneaking through peters apartment when he was taking a shower where he sees a picture of mj, he then gets the memory of mj through the symbiote which explains how he found her There’s other scenes too like Eddie’s extended speech at church or him driving away with MJ while Peter watches

When the bomb hit Harry, Harry didn't die. When the bomb hit Eddie, Eddie died. Why the bias? I understand your desire to kill Eddie to keep Spider-Man's identity a secret but that requires equality. You should have killed Harry. You gave him days.

Harry had the goblin serum, making him immune to the disintegrating effects of the pumpkin bombs, whereas Eddie at that moment was removed from the symbiote so he was an ordinary person, and the symbiote itself was likely weak to fire and explosions so both got disintegrated
