She's not Mary Jane though. And, as a reader of Spider-man since the '70s, I found her MJ to be much more like someone Peter would fall for, than a disco dancing, flirtatious redhead. If you weren't so into criticizing something because its people aren't white, then maybe you'd see it for what it is, instead of what it isn't.
