I think the main clue that it isn’t the real Nick Fury is when they talk about the different earth’s. He says Beck is from earth just not “your” earth. Your earth not our earth, so easy to miss that comment but it indicates that he isn’t or doesn’t consider himself from earth at all. Something funny to me: In Avengers: Endgame, it’s made clear that we already know how time travel works. You travel back in time, you create another timeline. Bruce and Nebula talk like this is something the smart people hammered out a long time ago - traveling in time creates new universes. And yet at 5:01, Peter is SHOCKED to learn about the existence of other universes, and the scientific implications of that. Why is that funny to me?
