I will never understand people who want to know every single thing about a movie before they see it; like how is that enjoyable? I actually avoided watching any of the full trailers for this and tried to look away or hit mute if a TV spot showed up as a commercial lol. I couldn't avoid everything, like I knew about most of the villains coming back, but all I had for Andrew and Tobey was hope. I guarantee I enjoyed this movie more than the people who spent countless hours watching spoiler videos and whatnot because the surprises were genuine, the joy was pure, and the emotions were raw.

@@vt_sandman3392 I get what you mean, but also don't think you can argue that you enjoyed something more than someone else lol. Much like artistic media in general, enjoyment is subjective, for a lot of people, likely knowing the details only made them more excited to see its execution. There were absolutely people who knew every leak that were still in tears for those specific moments, so it's kinda eh. My only issue is that it does become difficult if you don't want spoilers to avoid them because of how the hype makes content creators cover the internet in spoilers but not much you can do.

And throughout the rest of the movie he shits on Peter as if it was his fault, when *he*'s the one that should have taken like, 2 minutes to explain this potentially multiverse breaking spell to Peter before casting it. God, I hated Dr. Strange in this movie, he is still the same arrogant prick he was before, just with some magic tricks sprinkled in.

@@RandomNickname1234 Yeah that's true but it's also Peter fault for asking something that drastic without thinking of his others options, it's also his fault for not asking questions, he assumed too much things there, i mean Strange said that people will forget that Peter Parker is Spiderman and Wong said that it was dangerous, If peter cared about danger he would've ask sooner but he only cared when the thought of his girlfriend forgetting him came up. Despite the danger Strange could and would have succeeded with the spell if Peter didn't step inside the circle and messed up the spell and even then Strange would've bring them all back to their home but Peter decided to fight him on these which caused more catastrophe. Despite his arrogant Strange was the most responsible person of the movie and Peter caused everything that was bad. And here is the thing even if they change of those villains and save them, this was probably the most irresponsible thing spidey could've done, because by doing so they messed up the timeline of other universes. The possiblities of future catastrophe for those universes are endless. For examples Otto Octavious, he died saving the New york after he took back the control of his arms, and he said in NWH that he dissapeared when he was choking Tobey in SPiderman 2 , but in that scene in the movie his Machine was already activated and had already lost control, so by taking him in the MCU, it means that he wasn't here to stop the machine so New-York is probably destroyed in the raimi and if at the end of No way home they bring him back to moment he was choking Peter then he will have to do same thing anyway and Die.

As far as Ned making portals. If you remember Steven was left on a mountain and told to make a portal back. That being his first magic test implies that while portals seem impressive, they are actually the most easy of magic

Bro, but the point is that Dr. strange did struggle a lot to open a portal in the start of that that movie, so the ancient one gave him a do or die situation, where he opened his first portal. but Ned, in his first attempt just swung his hand while talking about finding Peter, didnt open the portal completely but completely opened it in his second attempt. While in Dr. Strange it was shown that wizards practice for a long time to open a portal, where they specifically wanna go, Ned opened a portal for peter parker( tho for wrong one) in his second attempt.

There were a couple behind us in the theaters. The girl had no idea about the villains, and spideys and daredevil. So did the boy too. He probably watched some videos on the previous movies explanations and was trying to impress her. He literally said Doc ock is bitten by an octopus. Electro got his powers from a drug and Norman oscorp. I was lucky that it was the third time I was watching NWH. It was really so annoying.

My whole family went to see the very first Spiderman in theaters. Only time I can remember that happening. To see Tobey back on the big screen as Spiderman; Andrew even, it was so surreal.. like a dream. That being said.. I hate that I already knew ahead of time they were in it. I mean they have been talked about being in it for over a year now. Very much impossible to not know that. I still enjoyed having them back and pretty much acting as big brothers to Tom's Spiderman. All the call backs and references and even though it's been years since they played Spiderman/Peter Parker.. they each felt like they never left. Such an impressive and historic movie. Now there is no.. who's is better.. since they are essentially one story across the multiverse.

Actually when it comes to the doctor strange explaining to spell to Peter thing, I think he was saying strange should have stopped to talk to Peter about the logistics BEFORE casting it. Cuz strange just kinda started doing it without telling Peter what it actually did

There might be 2 steps, setting up the spell where he basically sets up all the things he wants the spell to do and then activating the spell, it seems that when the spell is activating or activated is when it cant be stopped or disturbed.

I feel the Tobey "wise face" as ok because, they are all Peter Parker. It is basically and older version of yourself looking back at a younger self who have just experienced the trauma. They have all established that they all undergo pain at the rooftop. When you are looking at yourself, words are not necessary. There's something special about having the first spiderman and the current spiderman.

I think it’s also fair to point out that Dr Strange lacked “purpose” when he was first trying to make portals. When Ned was attempting portals you could hear the true desire in his voice of what he wanted and to me that helped him make portals easier, because it had true purpose behind it.

As far as Dr. Strange not being able to make changes in the middle of the spell, if that were the case and he knew that then why would he start the spell without going over EVERYTHING before starting it? Just because he sometimes lacks common sense(I mean, he's a teen) doesn't make the fact he's a genius any less of a fact. Him and the other peters had a whole huge nerd "let's use science" moment at the end and tony even complimented the web fluid in civil war. He also hacked a high tech facility with a calculator in homecoming. And in far from home, he was complimented by mysterio saying "never apologize for being the smartest person in the room."

It's not a time travel spell. Mysterio was dead, strange couldn't go back in time and erase his memories sot that he wouldn't reveal Spidey's identity. The spell Strange used in the movie erases the present memories of Peter.

So far as them making the cures “super easy” they did address that in the movie. When he asks him to come up with a cure for green goblin (I believe it was) he says “I’ve had a good long time to think about this” (how he would have done it). You have to remember that they were decades older than they were when they faced the villains initially. That’s a long time for geniuses to ponder potential solutions. Plus it’s condensed down to a “science montage!”

I still lay the blame on Peter for the spell going wrong. If he had kept his mouth shut, then things would have gone right. The worst he would have had to do was re-reveal his identity to Ned, MJ, and Aunt May. And I'm willing to bet that it still would have turned out good. But, then again, we wouldn't have a movie.

Even if future viewers watching Spider-man movies for the first time watch them in the correct order I still feel like No Way Home won't hit the same, since they didn't have the down time. We had to wait 16 years for Tobey to come back, and 9 years for Andrew. New veiwers can watch them back to back and it will be cool but it won't hit the same.

The part which bugs me is- doesn't curing them cause a different timeline/dimension in the multiverse similar to how it is explained in Endgame to Hulk. Also, if they were about to die and are sent back, they would still die. Maybe I am thinking too much with Stein's;Gate logic.

The leaks and spoilers for me came from KZbin channels that I didn’t even click on. Using clips that have images from the movie or trailer to get clicks. I just seen the movie today, I’m not on any social media, and I knew everyone who would show up except for the lizard.
