I think Tom grows attached to Otto which is why he is against sending them back. I think Otto teams up with them by the end. You can see that otto gets hit by electros lightning in one shot

The other thing is otto had a conscience at the end and redeemed himself and tobey as parker was revealed to him only a few moments earlier. Notice when Doctor Strange says “they’re coming through and I can’t stop them” he’s wearing a different outfit to the one he’s wearing on the statue if liberty?? So I think he says that line when he’s performing the spell initially, and they’ve done some clever editing to make us think it’s later in the movie!

Correct. The villains and Tobey and Andrew come in during the second act, and the bridge scene is also part of the second act. The scene at the statue of liberty is where the final battle takes place.

I like that Peter is making Peter quill level mess ups again, it’s in character for MCU Spidey. He’s just like Quill who acts off emotion not logic. This was such an intelligent trailer! It never includes Tobey or Andrew but every single sign points to their appearance. And by focusing on the villains they immediately set up the insurmountable odds Tom will have to face. THIS looks soooo much like an actual Spider Man film!!!
