I remember Static Shock's creator, Dwayne McDuffie, wishing we got to a point where people wanted to cosplay cool darker-skinned characters without feeling like they needed to be dark themselves. I'm glad you want to cosplay Miles. Thanks for that, and don't apologize for it. I had an ex who's dumb cosplay advice for me was to find one of the cool black characters to cosplay since I would "look like them" better, forgetting that the time of her advice was over a decade ago, where a lot of the "cool black characters" where most likely side characters in other stories with little plot development or villains or something. Honestly, if I were to see you cosplaying Miles, and loving it, I'd be happy. I know you've moved on to many more vids since this one, but in case you see this comment--- Do you man. Don't apologize for your love of costuming people of different skin tones. We need more of that. Anyone who wants to criticize you embracing your passion isn't worth your time. =)

Advice, when working with darts, get pins and poke them through the cardboard and skewer the darts so that they are both above the cardboard for easier painting, and keeps the darts stationary as you spray paint And thanks for the tutorials, I'll be making my own suit based on Gerry Drew - you know the Spider-man of the future everyone kinda forgot
