I like how Kane Andrews took the most realistic approach to Peter's love life in this story. If his blood is radioactive then by proxy his semen would be radioactive too. I just find it interesting that in the 616 main continuity, Peter has numerous love interests, and this scenario never happens to any of them. But honestly, I feel like having irradiated semen killing a lover is a plot point more suited for a Hulk story since Bruce Baner has much more radiation in his body than Peter Parker does.

I think what annoys me is people laugh but that's just a small portion of the story. Like, yes, his sperm would be a part of the equation but likely a smaller portion. How many times would MJ come into contact with his blood when helping clean him up after big fights? Just kissing alone, even quick pecks on the lips. Every little gesture one does for the person they love was inching them closer to death and neither knew about it. People who just run with the 'radioactive spider jizz' portion just tell on themselves how immature they are.
