Since the spiked rings tend to come in only one ring size if they're too small to fit your finger take your finger and wrap it in sandpaper. Then put your finger in the ring and twist the ring repeatedly. Over the course of a few hours or days you can scrape enough metal out to make it fit. I had to do that with mine

The spiked combat club is definitely the star of this video. That would be a fun device to have. I agree that the mini-hand-axe would be more fun if it were bigger. The neck knife and the mace don't appeal to me as much. The stealth cat ring doesn't appeal to me either, but as I watched, I wondered about a different technique. If you ever get around to playing with the rings again, could you try putting one on your pinkie finger, turning the ears so that they point away from your other fingers, and try a hammer fist strike with the ears driving into the target? Maybe the pinkie finger just isn't strong enough to take any kind of additional stress from that kind of strike. If the biggest part of the compressive stress falls on the side of the hand, then maybe the spikes coming off the side of the pinkie finger will do some nice damage. The cat keychains don't appeal to me much, but the solid brass looks cool. I could see removing the designed chain, drilling a hole in the top, and turning that into a Christmas tree ornament.
@Karatemart2 жыл бұрын
I like your suggestion for the cat ring. The ring would be too large for my pinky finger, but it may fit some people. I’ve heard some people say that they put one on multiple fingers at the same time. Thanks so much for watching!

Whatever defensive option you choose you need to practice with it and as frequently mentioned BE AWARE OF LOCAL LAWS. The first two I recommend useing a "rake strike" and go for a good messy hit (for heads bleed nicely as well as any face shot). Polypropylene is a little teputure sensitive so be aware of that for the last toy. The modern "bodice knife" was interesting tho

Happy New Year guyz, missed your tutorial last week. My favourite has to be the neck knife. I recon you could use it as a shuriken maybe? One suggestion for the cat ring would be to have something like a hollow tube in your hand when you strike in order to prevent yourself getting hurt? Of course these rings were supposedly used by the shinobi?

I like the rings. as far as you breaking your own fingers i don't know I would have to try it first. Maybe instead of putting it on your index finger you should put it on your middle finger. But what i like is that you can have it ready whenever you want. it will still help if you to know how to punch and you can really use it to you're advantage if the ring is heavy enough. But those two projections would seal the deal one way or another. I would not put them against a knife. but if you have a chance to hit somebody before they take out a knife that would be very helpful. Also if you have a knife on your own you can use it in a combination. Although main weapon should still be a knife in those circumstances. but the ease of use the ease of concealment would definitely be helpful in many situations. Cat brass knuckles would be probably very effective as well, the problem is you first have to put them on. The club is well designed in the fact that it has those spikes which allows it to do damage despite it not being sharp. it will not do nearly as much damage as it would if it had steel spikes but you are not fighting a knight in medieval armor. Its this club not the first one that should have knife inside. of course then some legal restriction would apply so maybe the club is best the way it is.
