YES! I vote for the redemption round! I would love to see how you solve for an overly heavy table. Do you fill the form with a smaller form, and leave it hollow on the inside somehow? Do you fill the form with plastic balls? Do you use foamcrete? Do you make it out of a lighter material and apply a skim coat of concrete? I would love to see what you come up with. Do you put up surveys and let your fans decide? If you're ever short of video ideas, that would be fascinating!

As the mother of 3, I had children for purely selfish reasons -- I wanted children! But if someone doesn't feel that selfish desire for children, they should *not* have them. There's nothing innately good about having children or bad about not having them. (I'm glad I had and have my children but it's a purely personal choice).
@TheImanuelita8 ай бұрын
@@TamarLitvot I was the same too. So much so that I divorced my first husband because he ended up not wanting any when he knew full well that I wanted kids and told me before we got married that he was onboard. 15 years later and I now have a loving husband with 2 beautiful boys ❤ Life is definitely more hectic but I am loving it. I learned that sometimes WANT can exceed NEED. Nobody needs to have children if they don't have them but the want once you have them can turn into need for sure!

As a Special Education teacher for decades I appreciate your comments about dyslexia. Students who have difficulty learning to read or do math due to a learning disability always feel that they are stupid. I always tell my students that part of the diagnosis for a learning disability, like dyslexia, is that the person must have average or above intelligence. Another interesting thing I have noticed is the number of my students who have exceptional artistic skills and have gone into the arts professionally. The way their brain sees the world and images is gifted, not disabled.

You had a lot of other wrenches lobbed at you, too, so thank you for being so real. I know it helped me through a lot, a reminder that those I admire are human like the rest of us. Gotta give you the rest of the quote courtesy of Law and Lumber (I am a law nerd). It goes “Jack of all trades but master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” I love the entire quote because I am a dabbler in many things and it makes my heart happy that it’s “oftentimes better” rather than “you can’t focus” 😂 Just found your channel last month in my recommended and I subbed immediately because you and this community are definitely my tribe! Edit: BTW, Rob (@LawandLumber) is a lawyer who covers court cases and is also an AMAZING woodworker! He live streams on Friday nights and last night we spent 3 hours going over the Kim Kardashian lawsuit. She is being sued by a foundation for Donald Judd who was a furniture maker in the sixties whose (very rectangular table and chairs called La Manasa and Chair 84 go for $180,000 for getting a knockoff made and presenting it as authentic. On video. However, the whole backstory of this very ugly furniture as “iconic art” is hysterical as they are seriously trying to say he invented this table and chairs that seriously look like 9th grade shop class. It was a great time!

Regarding books & belts, I had thought you were just going to originally put the belts around book groupings. I was shocked when I saw you put it around the books and the bench. Personally, I think putting the belts just around groups of books would be more reminiscing of ages ago, and maybe how people might carry books. I don’t know, that’s just the vibe I get when I think about it. Of course, you just do you Danie! 😊 Lastly, regarding your Wonder, Woman mounted arms with Lasso in your office, I still think those arms need 1970’s Wonder Woman bracelets on them (either from the World War II early version, or the later up-to-date 1970s version).

The smartest dog I've ever had, looked like a long haired Shepherd, solid black. You answered so many questions in a variety of topics, great coverage. Nicely done! I like this style of Q & A - where questions are gathered and organized prior to filming answers. I absolutely hate the Q & A's where you watch someone stare at a screen while scrolling looking for a question. I find those very boring and don't watch. Excited to watch the progress of the garage and upper studio. And, super kudos to the viewer that sent in the 3-D suggestions. Awesome!

Loved this! You are the sweetest person! Thank you for sharing. You are so gifted in inspiring others and I'm so blessed to be able to know someone like you even if I don't "really" know you. When you started crying I started crying. I lost my emotional support animal last October. She was a stunningly gorgeous black cat named Catterina and she was my best friend. I work from home and we were always together. Her passing was unexpected & hit my husband & I hard. She always stayed next to me while I worked. When my anxiety would spike she just knew when I needed her and would be in my face, purring and making me pet her. I never went anywhere in the house alone. Suddenly my best friend was gone and I was alone and on my own. EVERYTHING reminded me of her. Loss like that is incredibly painful. I know your loss is different however loss is loss. And we all just grieve and get through it. It's so incredibly painful though. I'm happy to say that my husband and I have rescued two black kitties. They're boys and it's a very different vibe with them in the house. Not bad, just different. And while I no longer have my shadow I do have two beautiful boys who check up on me throughout the day. They kind of tag team when my stress is high. It's amazing, really. It's helped heal a very broken heart so quickly. I miss my best friend so much. However I'm getting used to the new normal & I remind myself I'm so fortunate Catterina was in my life. I really hope this year is amazing for you and that, like me, you can find ways to enjoy your new normal. 💖

I have rewatched your video 3 times I think xD There are so many questions you have answered ! Thank you so much for being so authentic, so "you", and inspiring ! I understand life has been challenging along the way, and I admire this strenght you have to get back on track and be kind with yourself, allowing time to work on wounds. All the work you've been doing for all those years, seing you grow, how much care you put in all you do ! You say a wonderful community is behind you, but know that all those good people that follow you and give you support are here and stay around you because they can feel all the heart and mind you put in making an amazing job ! You create this good environment, by being you, you are trully a magical creature ! You also said you are a good capricorn : you sum it up by saying "stubborn" and of course being stubborn is a quality !!!! I would like to emphasize "disciplined" and "persistent" ! You are admirable ! Looking at your content, at you and at your mindset (like "make it messy" or "love your magic" or "we like it weird here"), it gives me strenght to want to go on too, to try new things, to not give up on projects, to unleash my creative beast too ! You are a gift to this world and you give joy and motivation to a lot of people ! You give a lot and I think it is only natural that people want to give you something back in return, to show you that you are really important, that you matter ! I wish you, from the bottom of my heart, to live a long and happy life, to keep this burning flame of magic and creativity and will to live wonderful adventures ! I'll of course stay tuned for the next episodes, or should I say, to keep following and witnessing your beautiful ideas, personnality and projects. Take care ! With immense respect and love ! Thank you ! 💖💖🙏

It's been a while since you upcycled an item for someone else...I love seeing their reactions to their new/old item.

O Danie, I so love you for keeping things so real. Your cozy corner gives a feeling of hugging you when you might need it. I have been watching you for years and my heart went out to you and your family during your 2022. Thanks for being so nerdy. Lots of love from South Africa ❤

I think it would be so fun to have a group of viewers come help you make some strides on the garage. I would take a week of vacation to help!
