I’m a long time follower and I would never question any decisions you make about what, why, or how you are choosing to do something. You want to go back to weightlifting, awesome! You want to completely change course and turn this into a farming channel? Super cool! 😂 I enjoy your content and will be here regardless of what and when you post. 😘 Also, extremely relatable about the truck parked in YOUR gym 🤣 How dare he!? 😤

Honestly, you can easily qualify to the Olympia if you pick a smaller show. You were very competitive at Tampa, which is one of the bigger shows.

completely agree with the judging of fitness. There has been many time these past 5 years that I have been competing as a pro where the routine scoring has made ZERO sense. I am from a gymnastics background and like you said it is subjective but certain skills of higher difficulty are rewarded so you have the motivation to do it. My daughter is in dance and each judge is on a microphone recording there feedback as the routine is going which is amazing to know exactly what each judge is thinking and how she can make improvements. I hope the IFBB figures it out someday.

That last show showed how subjective it is and left me with so many questions. I felt like judged just completely turned around what type of athletes they wanted to see in that division. Glad you've taken the time to process and heal physically and mentally. Love your persistence.

It seems like BB judging in general is very subjective, even when you hit all the things that are required. In strength sports, you either get the lift or you don’t. It’s awesome that you are able to change your mindset about competing in BB.

Hey Pope, You do you. You have accomplished plenty!!!! Be proud of yourself. We are. Remember there’s so many of us that do not have the time to do what you do and just dream by watching your videos

Fellow fitness girl here- so agree with your comments about routine judging! I come from a figure skating background. It used to be way more of a subjective judging style, like fitness is now. It came to a head after a big controversy at the Salt Lake City Olympics, and now our judging system is so much better. It accounts for levels of difficulty, grade of execution, artistry, program requirements, and more. I’d love to see fitness go a similar direction! I’m sure cheer, gymnastics, and dance judging would also have some great insights that could make our division’s judging SO much better.

thank you for sharing this! i only started following bb bc i was following you already for weightlifting and all i got was so confused about the fitness category. if the physique portion was weighted equally to the performance it would make a LOT more sense.

Maybe since your last show look at the winners from the lens of influencers and how much following someone has. If you can't outgrow in that category then based on current standards it's going to hard to make it based on effort, skill, look....

Pope, you're not made for the Fitness category. Your body is made for the Wellness category. You should try it. You have all the necessary tools for it.
