This really reminds me of Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild in that it doesn’t feel like a Sandy Cheeks spin-off and it’s just another cash grab SpongeBob movie where the rest of the gang feel obligated to be on the main adventure when it should have been all Sandy’s story. The Puss in Boots movies and even the Penguins of Madagascar 2014 at least did it right by actually focusing on the titular spin-off character instead of forcing the franchise’s actual main characters to go on the adventure, making them quick cameos at most.

I remember watching this on the pirated website I went too because I legit refused to pay for it. and it was as bad even worse than any other movie I've seen by a Nickelodeon film. thing is, Sandy's parents and even family in general are known about, where she get's a letter from her brother Randy in one episode, and in another she does have a sister who has 3 nieces which are sadly absent from this whole schmeal. thing is, they had a gimmick, since it would make a bit of sense that she was more of an entertainer since she knows fancy moves, and outside of karate. that it would make sense her moves came in handy but she wanted to live for the life of science. there were so many opportunities to have this deep conversation with just her and her mother and father but were blatantly just passed aside. and it's no secret that Nickelodeon subtly ships sandy and SpongeBob, to where SpongeBob expresses he would hate to have her leave that she makes his day so much better each time. especially with them warming up to SpongeBob over time. everything was so damn wrong with this movie and I feel awful for the animators who were forced to make it.
