IMO they’re a little better but not by a lot. Post season 2 episode 1, the tone is always all over the place. One moment it’s a serious scene like Blitzo and Barb fighting, Moxie confronting his dad, Luna and Octavia talking, etc. and the next it’s completely different with “toys” everywhere, random assault “because funny”, and incest jokes. The show went from a dark adult comedy with an overarching plot and character growth to a sloppy story with inconsistencies and is more focused on creating “wholesome” moments instead of giving the audience something to be invested in.

Like, i feel like it's best to take what you can, read between the lines, and just let it be entertainment. It costs a lot of money to add minutes for plot sake. Millard Realboy and Moxxine were the best and worst parts of Happy Campers respectively. It’s not a great episode, but it’s amazing compared to C.H.E.R.U.B imo Oops is my favourite episode next to MMMSS. I love getting to know more about characters outside of their jobs; Seeing Fizz and Oz having such a sappy relationship after seeing how they act when preforming was really cool. I love their love. I also loved getting to know more about Fizz and Blitzø’s past. It did feel a bit rushed, but personally, I’m fine with that lol Also, Look At This is one of Helluva’s best songs imo Mammon’s Musical Mid-Season Special hits close in a lot of ways. Fizzarolli’s panic attack and break down felt so real and so relatable. Blitzø and Asmodeus supporting Fizz and helping him gather the courage to stand up to Mammon was so relieving and heartwarming. Fizz finallt standing up to his now ex boss was incredibly satisfying. Plus, it gave us Two Minutes Notice, one of my favourite Helluva songs yet. It’s an awesome song, y’all just have bad taste in music lmao (/lh)

The show is impressive for what it is, but there feels like a large amount of it where the writing is extremely...weak? And it relies way too much on how it's allowed to swear, showcase sexy things, and all that jazz. It kind of becomes a crutch that can't even hold it up. I love deadpool, and I loved the movie, but just because it was able to use as many f-bombs as it wanted, doesn't mean it needed as many as it had. It kinda dilutes it. fireworks everyday get boring and annoying. It's still pretty fun but there's a lot that can still be learned and implemented.

Viv actually confirmed that it wasn’t because of personal tragedy and that Viv just kinda wrote the episodes to not include Lorna’s VA. She admitted it in a tweet, can’t remember which one

I do remember Viv saying in a tweet, that Loona didn't talk in her hospital episode, because they wanted to show a more "puppy side of Loona". Which tbh, like Nuxtaku, I don't believe that. If they couldn't afford her at the time, just say so. Because there is no reason Loona should be *this* silent, especially in an episode where she should be verbally freaking out.

Erica Lindbeck's BF died in June 2022 just a few months after finding out he had cancer. Vivzie has said that all lines in the show are recorded a couple years beforehand. Vivzie has also said that the way Loona's written is her creative vision as she originally intended and isn't due to outside circumstances. Loona's VA has been consistently getting work in other projects and appearing in cons since her BF died. I don't know who started this rumor that Erica is going through some 2+ year grieving period where she doesn't work but it's simply not true, Vivzie just doesn't want to use Loona for whatever reason.
