Donkey is essentially an animal so he may know how it works for animals or just be following his instinct and not connecting two and two. 3. I wonder the same thing and I'm scared of the answer bc wether they changed or not, there would have still been a bunch of babies/eggs inside her body and ooof! unless she'd laid them/given birth before the potion took effect, in which case I think they didn't change 4- At least in the Mexican Spanish dub, Donkey only mentions that his wife has been behaving a bit weird and moody, and implies that either she kicked him out or he ran away to avoid pissing her off further, so it may have been the early stages when even she hadn't noticed she was pregnant? @@leovk5779 Yeah, I feel like people really dunk on Dreamworks when like 90+ percent of their lineup are bangers. Boss Baby was probably the most “Illumination” they got, and there was Trolls too. Shrek 3 was arguably the worst in the franchise, but that still leaves three other outstanding films. The first Puss in Boots was mediocre, but the second one (please go see The Last Wish if you haven’t) is just… *chef’s kiss*… That’s all I’ve got. If you can count on Dreamworks for something, it’s that their sequels are generally an improvement over the first (… Minus Shrek 3).

Boss baby is weird and nonsensical and has no point, but if you shut down your brain, there are also a few funny scenes, and at least its premise is kinda original. Neither are "peak illumination level shit". And on the other hand, there so many great classical Dreamworks animated movies: the road to eldorado, the prince of Egypt, Kung fu panda, Shrek, chicken run, over the hedge, how to train your dragon, megamind, puss in boots 2, the bad guys.
