I use a green screen for the intros y'all lol. Makes it easier to cut my face out and insert me into random places. Kitchen is very much real and mine the rest of the video lol.

Boursin and roast beef sandwiches are incredible. Highly recommend.

For the garlic bowl trick, it really helps to cut the bottoms off. Just loosens up the skins that little extra bit and makes sure they aren't tied down.

That intro was fantastic

I appreciated that extra thoughtful green shirt up front, it kept more of the gorgeous dip visible and even gave it a cheerful luchador face floating right where it should be 😊

I'm really liking the longer format. I know it's way more work, but I think it's worth it. Keep it up, king

Looks freaking amazing. Top tip, you can add some crushed ice, lime, and spiced rum to the spinach/artichoke water for a horribly rank undrinkable cocktail.

Yay! Great video. For my 2 cents, I prefer this more real time talking while cooking style. The voice over work on cooking youtube has always come across as overly produced and sterile if that makes sense. This feels much more natural to me. Keep up the good work, friend!

Like this style as well. There's something more "cinematic" about your other content, but I can understand the annoyance of that extra work and all. Definitely easier to live commentate. Happy to watch whichever ones you choose!

I find that the garlic trick works really well when you use a glass jar. I think plastic is too soft for it to work. I use an old salsa jar!

I'm shocked that John's kitchen has just been a green screen this whole time

But what was the pour choice? A blonde beer? Was he really going with the Incredible Hulk paired with a dip?

How long do you think the oil will last? or is that something to even worry about once we get the garlic out?

Gotta be honest, I still prefer your shorter videos but maybe you could still do a mix & just do some shorter videos to save time on all the editing you do?
