Its actually nice seeing a compassionate Dr. In the pain world, there needs to be more who actually care. My son has CRPS and i also suffer from a spinal cord injury 6 years now of chronic pain its truly exhausting.

Boston Scientific spinal cord stimulator recipient here! One week out of surgery, NO PAIN!! April 2024. I had nerve pain going down my leg terribly! I can walk distances now, do household tasks! I feel like my old self, first time in over 5 years! So sorry that this has happened to you😢

I've had CRPS for over a year now. I tried the SCS trial, and it only made things worse for me. It not only flared up the original CRPS areas (my right hand, arm, and shoulder), but it also caused my CRPS to spread to my entire upper body. It has been MISERABLE. I've tried pain meds, pain patches, weed, nerve blocks, PT, OT, and others I can't remember at the time. Currently I'm using the permanent pain pump for the pain and it's the only thing that has actually helped

They are a saving grace for me. At least the temp was. I get the perm in a month. Ive had three failed back surgeries. I cant stand up straight. I cant sleep at night. Im in pain all the time. The temp took my pain down from a 10 to maybe a 2.

Thw Dr. never actually states her therapy...never. How can she criticize intervention when she has not offered any alternate solution. Her fees are over $40K, her patients and family must sign NDA's...there is something extremely suspicious about this Dr.

What would be nice is if ER doc's understood how to treat specific injuries like Frost Bite, the Bends, Strokes or TM. That the outcomes of these issues would be so much better if we got HBOT at the start.

My wife has a nevro implant that only takes away maybe 30% relief . She has had CRPS FOR Like 10 years and the implant maybe 5 years

In my wife's case if she walks 15 minutes pain could go up to 10 . So with the implant she uses two tramadol per day Not hydrocodone every 6 hours

I don’t know what I should do. I’m scheduled for a trial in August. I am scared. They did 3 blocks and only one worked for only 3 weeks. I was hurt on clock and comp is something else that’s bothering me. I have looked at ketamine infusions and marijuana treatment. I have seizures too that was prior and I’m scared to say no. It’s like they are pushing it and I’m just worried and scared to have it done. Even the trial. It is agonizing but it is like omg why don’t we go another path. What do you do?

For that physician to offer a spinal cord stimulator so early without giving "time" a chance (progressing through the stages of CRPS) is a premature decision.

Sounds like medical malpractice.
