Sonic 06 has been played by everyone and their mother; there wouldn't be much new to say, and besides that there'd be too much down time between the more commentable moments. As for Unleashed, I still like that game, warts and all, so to see it shredded is something I'd prefer to avoid. I'd like to see them try Adventure 2 though, if only to see them gradually shift opinions from positive to negative (like in this LP) on a game I've always found severely overrated.

How to make a sonic game good. Push Super Sonic super fucking hard. Like don't even hide it have him do DBZ shit. Have Platinum esque levels of quicktime events where he moves so fast he disappears like instant transmission. Also have it like a devil trigger in the normal game, like if you get 100 rings you can go super sonic and do really cool shit like break the sound barrier and have the soundtrack throw in vocals when you do it like in MGSRR. and--- Fuck it just have platinum make sonic adventure 3.

Tony Gonzales Platinum should just make *all* the Sonic games from this point on. I mean, just imagine a rival fight between Sonic and Shadow, with both of them powering up to Super-form for the final phase... with the fight going into near-earth space, through one of Eggman's ships, and back out into space, as Eggman's ship explodes behind them. Now imagine that that's not even the hypest thing that happens in the game. Because that's how Platinum does it.

Next time... eh... ADVENTURE 2 LP?! DO IT! Time to see the origins of Matt's "favorite" "black" "hedgehog". But honestly, Sonic Adventure is glitchy, doesn't have much of a great story, some things are confusing and many things should be improve within and out of the gameplay and story... but compare to Sonic 06 and Sonic BOOM... no, this game holds on its own two feet and prepares us with an amazing tale.
