Love the cream (Sahara) dial, just fits the retro design of the watch perfectly in my opinion! 👏

I think at $400 and above they should be using ETA or Selita movements , just my opinion

I've seen $400 Miyota 9000 series, never an ETA or selita...(unless the brand is cutting corners elsewhere)

Have you noticed how only the first two holes on the micro adjustment are usable? I tried making it smaller and could only go one hole

Great review! Does any one know why is there an N on the display case back and the crown? Where has the Spinnaker sail logo gone? The Spinnaker sail logo was perfect for the Spinnaker brand name.

Glad I opened this vid. As SOON as I saw thickness I'm out. Don't mind thickness on some watches but not here.

Great looking timepiece at an excellent price point, just can't do another NH35. Great review Rob!

Rob do all the micro adjustment work?? They don't normally with the dive extension, it clashes 😫

The pale blue dial one looks good. The cheap dive extension is truely terrible...

Spinnaker is weird to me and I think RR too. you can tell because the train of thought goes something like "look, no one is going to dive in a spinnaker..., here we have a 300meter depth rating...?" The hooded lugs are cool and the case overall is quite unique among so many oysters. however, the color choices, the stack attack dial and jazz hands makes this one feel like all-over the place. Unfortunately its a brand thing like avi-8 as well. Have you been on their site lately- pretty bonkers.Anyway a more adult, refined version of these watchs would be welcome.

I think NH35 is in a lot of $350 - $400 watches isn’t it ?
@UnburdenedByWhatHasBeen3 жыл бұрын
@@Mark-sd7fc sure but i dont buy them unless its an actual seiko. Nh movements are around $20-25 movements when bought in bulk so the rest of the watch needs to look like a $350 piece in materials and finishing and thats usually not the case..
@GodIsInHisHeaven3 жыл бұрын
@@UnburdenedByWhatHasBeen I think most micros if on Kickstarter you can grab their NH35 watch for $250-$300, then their retail would be about $400+, it really depends on the overall package and finishing, if it has like loads of superluminova and perhaps sapphire/ceramic over aluminim bezel then yea, $400+ I think is worth it. Seiko is great as a recognised brand but finishing is not the best, at $400 Seiko, you're looking at hardlex crystal even...

Looks nice has all sorts of good things except it has a garbage bracelet and a disposable movement. To each their own but nobody should buy a watch that you end up throwing away when it needs service...and it will ! 45 seconds a day is abhorrent right out of the box. I bet lots of fanboys will say mine Is plus 1 a day...no, no isn't.
@NathanChisholm0413 жыл бұрын
What a load off bullshit! My Seiko Samurai with the 4R35 runs +1-2 second every day! FACT...
@GodIsInHisHeaven3 жыл бұрын
I've heard some well known microbrand owners say they chose NH35 over swiss movements, not just to keep the overall cost lower, but to reduce the stress of having to deal with returns and servicing because you get much higher ratio of duds in swiss movements compared with NH35. NH35 is famous for minimal maintenance after all.

I've never had an nh35 out the box work over 12 spd and normally around plus 5-8....very easy to regulate, very easy to repair and work on and as long as they're cheap to buy I'll replace movements no problem when the time comes, watches can go on forever 😅
