I know that adding limits does help with creativity and direction but i think starter homes are too limiting- you have to use the same cheap furniture and leave out things you want to put in! With the two categories in this challenge, it feels like and looks like most of your other starter home videos. I think with a wheel challenge like this it would be more fun to have to pick certain items, characteristics or packs to use!

Yes lol it’s so Kayla!! My boyfriend goes through the same thing while working in Blender 😅 It’s so ubiquitous and relevant across computer programs that don’t have auto-save functionality, which makes for a GREAT merch idea!!!!!

I think a budget spin would be fun but ALSO a packs spin, like how many packs you use you could either flip between one and unlimited or make a spinner with various numbers and you HAVE TO use exactly that many packs

It's a really small detail, but it's so so important to me that you told beforehand about the spinning wheel that might be hard to look at in motion. I don't really have big or dangerous problems with this, but a lot of times I struggle with the fast lights or just things in fast motion, and I can't imagine how difficult it might be for those that struggle even more. So thank you so so much for mentioning it. I can imagine how many people you helped, and even if through just a few words but you put attention and intention into it, and as everything that you do is just really heartwarming.

With the For Rent pack I pretty much exclusively use del sol valley for apartment complexes especially on the ridiculously huge lots!

For Del Sol Valley, I used that cul-de-sac to build an apartment complex and a mid-century mini-mansion, because the lots are so big and a multi-sim living situation seemed better. Watching HGTV helps with ideas, since tons of people apparently want mid-century houses (I'm a cottagecore and Victorian lover honestly).

I think it's lovely you build starter homes so anyone can pop them into their games and play, but you always talk about how it's too easy to make money quickly in The Sims 4 if you know how to do it. So I really would rather you try wildly varying budgets, and you can kind of adjust which packs you use based on high or mid budgets. I think you limit your creativity a lot like this, when many of us have enough money to make it work in The Sims (or use cheats).

It would be cool to add more wheels for the challenge like, budget, color scheme, type (ie: starter micro home, mansion, wood cabin, underground bunker), number of sims living there (so it may be 2 bedrooms but for 8 sims), etc

Spin the budget but make all the budgets really high (like 75,000-300,000) and then spin for pack after that and spin 2-3 times and you can only use those 2-3 packs and you have to use the whole budget! Oh and spin for number of sims in the house!

I agree with a lot of people here, budget restrictions isn't helping you branch out and be creative as you'll be stuck with the same old furniture. If you want restrictions, spin the wheel for build styles (per build or per room) and limited pack builds. :>

You could try to use a wheel to determine the colors you have to use in a room. like spin 3 times and those 3 colors are the only ones you can use. if you role blue on 2 of the wheels you only get two colors type deal.

I say this with absolute love for this channel, but a lot of the videos recently are feeling very repetitive. I saw a few similar comments, but there have been a lot of budgeted starter homes. It would be great to see you do something bigger or different. I personally love the challenges you do or random pack builds, rather than budget. I am joining the requests for more wheel spin builds but girl get wild with it! Spin for budget, from starter to like 500K or something. Don't weight the wheel in favour of 2 bedrooms and go all the way to! Add in a wild card spin with stuff like "no blue allowed" or "must add a secret lab"!

Next wheel build, no budget and have a wheel for: - amount of bedrooms - amount of bathrooms - (maybe amount of kitchen counters?) - wheel for the style per room and be forced to use the furniture filter. - wheel for the style of the windows/doors too

Honestly Forgotten Hallow was a good idea. But it’s too hard to build anything in the world because it’s so dark. I always find myself building in a different world before I place the build in a lot there. It would be nice to have full lighting in build mode. And they need more swatches for the kitchen cabinets.

I'm working in a build based off a wheel spin. I got 1 expansion pack, 1 game pack, 2 stuff pack and 2 kits, plus base game. So I got horse ranch, parenthood, knitting, backyard, campers and desert deluxe AND it had to be built in willow creek. Everything is fine minus desert deluxe, lol. Only thing I've used is curtains.

Such a great build as usual!! 10:17 Just a quick thought if you are concerned about many of your builds turning out a little similar: I wonder if theming them a bit more would help? Like with this build, Get Famous has a lot of retro build items so maybe setting out to make a retro Get Famous Starter Home would help you branch out a little more? Or, just a random example, building like an Alternative Aesthetic Library to add variety to your community lots. Absolutely NOT complaining. I’m sure I only understand a fraction of how much work you do, just a suggestion. Either way, loved this house!! (Edit just to add time)
