I picked up that Red Hood figure too. It's great. It does pay to check the Funko section in Target. I found the Geo-Force figure back there last week. Rook Exodus is awesome. Agree on letting them take their time. The detail Fabok puts into his art is amazing.

Thanks for your comment. I love George and his shop. When I call it a "hole in the wall" I am more referring to the location of the shop and the unsuspecting look of the building. It's one of those places where if you blink, you miss it. My goal with these videos is to bring exposure to these great shops in WNY since a lot of my followers travel to different comic shops and don't know what this area has to offer.

I find that hole in the wall shops tend to be the best. The Neutral Zone in Niagara Falls (Canada) was one that I liked.

Thank you for the video. Here's a heads-up: the Half Price Books store in my area is having an after-Christmas sale, 20% off of most of their stuff, Dec. 26, 27, & 28. Maybe yours will have the same sale. I have my eye on some things, like their back issues at $5 (House of Mystery & Phantom Stranger), so I'll be stopping in.

How have I never been to that shop before. Definitely need to check it out. Started reading Red Coat and did enjoy it but unfortunately I had to make budget cuts so I stopped at issue 3. I did keep with Rook Exodus and agree that has been a great series.

idk if you're into Wonder Woman but if the price is good on that Blue Amazon book i saw i'd grab it for the Elseworlds collection. Ted McKeever's art isn't for everyone but if you like stuff that's a little out there it's worth a look.

@Gotham_n_glam Independent comics and titles, companies are important because that is the future success of our hobby and stories and art. There are some good ones. Captain Ginger, Gangsters and Wizards, Paper Girls, Rough Riders, in the Trees Where Nobody See, All 8 Eyes, Redcoat and maybe others.

Maybe all "george" needs is a bit of help, now and then, so he doesn't feel like the maintenance of his shop is daunting. Help your local hangout to be better. In return, as you help him, you can benefit from his "Hole in the Wall" being even better and attracting more comic book collectors and customers. 10-4?

no, sorry, Gotham and Glam, but listening to your experience and description of your home town shop...no, its junk. they should at least have a way to let you know the price of the comics beforehand, if they are not in the junk box. Also, they SHOULD ALWAY be boarded and bagged. Always. You need to find a better shop or check your paper for anyone who is selling a bit of their local collection of comics. Check out local flea markets. Don't accept bad quality. Hang in there. Still like your personality and your channel.

This is not by any means my regular shop. There are several shops that I prefer in the area, but I do really like this one for their tpbs. They are sold for cover price, the Lobo book that I mentioned did not have a price indicated on the cover, which was why I had to look that one up. I even referred to this shop as a bit of a "dump" Of all my local shops, this is the one I go to the least, although I do like to highlight something good about every shop I visit and this one does have a lot of tpbs that I don't see often.
