I'm glad to see that Finder is climbing that ladder. It's been my favorite spirit for a long time now and it's one of the few spirits that never disappoints, even when you lose a game.

Appreciate this video! For future videos I have a suggestion: Make a video about all spirits that reliably can make pockets, showing quickly how they do it, and which adversaries allow for pockets. I did Breath into Scotland 5 and was amazed at how easy it was to pocket out most of the board.

Went through your whole final tier series on 2x speed (jumping a bit or it would have taken too long even on 2x, but listening on at least the first part of every spirit and the whole of some). What an amazing series and what a huge amount of work it must have taken! Thanks for taking the time to share all your insight! Some of my favouritr spirits made S and X tier (like Starlight). I actually hoped they wouldn't, because that means me liking them might just be because they are objectively the best and not because they "fit my style" 😅 Others I really struggled with made high tiers as well (like Lure (played it against England, I think) and vengance), so I'll have to give them another try! Anyway, I really enjoyed the series and I may use it as an encyclopedia and go back to to the parts I skipped when I just tried those spirits. 😊

Seven? When I look at the Intensify and count: 1. Add +1 Strife/Badland, 2. +1 Damage, 3. Make power fast, 4. Add 2 Wild, 5. Add 1 Disease/Beast. Am I missing something?

Thank you for the update! I realize the F-tier spirits see less table play, and thus are subject to less review, but I think Earth’s Resilience aspect deserves a second look. It allows you to ignore problems while scaling, providing free early-to-mid game skips. Might deserve 1 or 2 tier bumps on the list.

While I understand the concern, the problem that Resilience has is that it can't close out the game (against pretty much anything). In exchange it doesn't blight... It's significantly worst than base Earth into HME, Prussia, and France. It's worst than Base into Russia and England. I think it's about == vs Scotland. It's better than Sweden than base, but Sweden is already a favorable matchup. I suspect it's better into HLC.

I had played it a bit with it's initial placement, but I never refined the build, so it ended up in mid B tier for awhile. I believed at the time that it could be A tier, but I needed to put the work into it before labeling it as such.

Curious why Deeps dropped down. Is it just because of standard ocean problems? I've only been playing it comboed with Transforming Wildfire, which is awesome but that's a combo potential happening.

I think it's an overall upgrade compared to base Ocean, but yes just Ocean problems in general. We played multiple games with it and the spirit is a massive liability to the team.

@@RedReVenge007 I've got permanent transforming goggles on, so it doesn't feel like the games is a B spirit and C spirit, but I'm sure that's a "whole is greater than the sum of it's parts thing." Those two do a lot to make each's liability into strength.

​@@markmittelbach7975​The same logic could be used with pairing Green with any Spirit. The moment you starting factoring in a Spirits potential while in a combo you must compare it to other spirits that are being supported.

@@RedReVenge007 While true, in this case I think that Deeps is one of the powerful combos for Transforming. It's not as strong as Green or Stone, but I would say Deeps being supported by Transforming is better than transforming supporting many B and even some A tier spirits. That isn't enough that I feel Deeps should be adjusted in tier, it's just one combo. Just consideration of overall team comp if Transforming is already there.

Are you planning on doing a finders guide soon? Or do you already have one? I had a very frustrating game a few weeks ago. Particularly interested in openings. My thought is bottom track until 3 card plays and then up diagonally with G4. But this is my weakest spirit by far I think

Is it fair to say that Stone has a higher floor but lower ceiling compared to Fractured?

I'd agree with that statement! Stone is also more of a safe spirit. It doesn't need any help (in most comps) and has the ability to draft was really powerful support tools. Fractured's power will amplify in certain comps, but is also very serviceable by itself.

I think Finder is almost alone in that it's level should be considered differently true solo vs on a team. True solo I think it's only fine - maybe even B tier - as well as incredibly boring to play. Your bad matchups are greatly exacerbated too. Whereas on a team, Finder is comfortably S-tier imo. One example; Your Russia matchup is beyond awful. Your England matchup is average at best. But I beat Russia England 6/6 with Finder/Starlight/Volcano first try. And couldn't have done it without Finder. It lets you optimise your very specific maths equations into very specific lands across the island, which massively ups your power level. And the rest of the team take care of different lands. And of course, the portals get so much stronger with more players. There's no way Finder can be less than S tier imo. Just too strong.

The tier list is assuming multiplayer NOT solo. And no, we consider Finder to be A tier worthy in multiplayer.

@@RedReVenge007 you made an interesting comment about Green. That Tangles can deal with its problems better than the other variants can, but loses GoP and is therefore significantly lower rating. A totally fair assessment. For me, Finder is quite similar to Green. It has exceptional solving (skipping) abilities, without really being able to clear invaders. So by that logic I can see it not making your highest grades. But I think it's portal abilities, and the other various movement stuff like optimising beast or Dahan strats, doing fancy things with other spirit presence etc, move it up to S tier. Either way, I'm very keen to see your games. Just hope you can find a way to showcase multiplier, or something more than just *push, push, push, push, Briney* which True solo mostly devolves into.
