ROYSTON TOWN BAND was very pleased to perform as part of the finale concert of the 2023 Royston Arts Festival. The theme of the festival was A FORCE OF NATURE.
In more traditional style we played this march called SPIRIT OF PRAISE by the Salvation Army composer GEORGE MARSHALL. It’s bright and full of joy, and features in the trio section a hymn tune setting, in this case ‘Praise My Soul The King Of Heaven’ - although not to the melody that will be familiar to many of you.
