The staff near the 2nd to last shaman in Chapter 5 was a bug and not meant to be there. There's another one after all the jumps down from the tower near the last Shaman, there's also a wall mural you can activate (neither of these are shown in this guide.) Good Luck. :) 1.02 Patch Notes: Chapter 5 - Bug - There were two staves for one Shaman near the end of the chapter. One staff was under the plague (correct) and one was near the shaman (unintentionally left in-game).

Charbonnator just stand on the pressure plate as the spirit fox, then u get it. (If you have walked on water and stepped on those falling bricks as the spirit fox)

Somehow, my game looks different than yours? I can't get to the 3rd spirit in chapter 5 because my tower is just plain empty with no staircase. The staff is making sounds though but there literatly is nothing. Do you know how to fix this?

It can be annoying but so are many games out there. I still love it and enjoyed playing it. I've restarted it a few times just to replay it again before i decided to platinum it.

To find the missing shaman staff - at 1:54:25, don't go left but go right, take the path down around the tower and pick it up

Incase anyone is struggling to find the final staff for chapter 5 you go to the tower after the first set of jumps, and there should be a path down towards a light wall (also not in the video) if you walk towards that there's a bit just down from that which has the staff. Just incase anyone struggled like I did 😊😊

Date I posted this comment: 28/12/20 Anyone trying to get the 'Kindred Spirits' trophy. At 2:25:05 When he is about to jump off the water fall, for me, a bridge appeared (as it's part of the story) so you can't jump off. To get around this, go back, get out of the castle, and go to the front of the castle where the 2 large wolf statues are. There should be a large water fall there. This is the bottom of water fall he is at, follow where he goes and you should be able to find and greet the last Shaman spirit. Hope this helps anyone who got a bit stuck here, take care :)

Indeed. I don't know how he got the 2 doors to open without infusing one of the nearby stones to revive other spirit fox a little earlier. Must have been playing an older version of the game. @IBadDriverI: Perhaps edit the video description to mention this as well as the staff issue at the end of Chapter 5? I had to read the user comments here to figure it out. Better, still, if you can overlay text on the video mentioning these, all the better. Anyway, thanks for the video.

If you platinum this game on PS5, note : do NOT drop scepter in 1:50:50, take it with you and you must place near shaman, and then for the last shaman (in 1:54:40), you must turn right in 1:54:27 and go down for it (in the stone circle).

Thank you very much for this guide, it was very helpful! I also encountered a problem in Chapter 7 at 2:25:05 - in the updated version, you cannot go outside unless you summon the second fox thus summoning a spirit bridge. So for the very last spirit, you have to go back to the castle's entrance with the two fox statues and follow your guide there.

If you want to platinum the ps5 version be cautious. There are a few environnement changes, there is one staff and a wallpiece thats located on another spot near the very end of chapter 5. Rest is pretty much the same.

1:00:15 was blocked by branches, I had to use spirit fox to get through. It's weird that you were able to just walk in like that and light up the carving.

Aug 2024 update: At 2:24:27 when you greet 3 shaman near a ‘dead’ spirit fox, light up the stone on your right that’s not lit up. Then go forward to the doors. I did not see a bridge when he jumps down at 2:25:06 down a waterfall(as some ppl have suggested in previous comments). So I guess lighting that stone helped? I’m on PS5 Enhanced edition btw if that helps. Enjoy!!

i love this game, great music, great graphics,story and i get to play as fox! but some parts were very hard and made me wish i could search up a tutorial mid game. but turns out, i couldnt, because you must exit the game to open another tab, and if you want to quit your progress wont save unless you trigger the autosave. in conclusion, very good game but desperately needs a manual save!

Omg. 31:50 I was playing this and the water level rose but I guess the fox swam a little and got stuck under that tunnel part. Was standing on the water and couldn't get out from under it...had to restart the puzzle 😂

Only thing a bit weird in this guide is at the end of chapter seven where you reach the last three spirits. In your video you just reach them then the door opens and you are running around in the spirit realm. When I played it on the PS5 version, I went over to the standing stone on the right and lit that up, then the fox spirit was resurrected and then the door opened and that light chute was available.

In the area of Chapter 5 the boost gates don't stay open...Is it a bug? I'm onnfhe switch version (Edit) Nevermind they're timed 😅 though there was a bug woth the first gate. The wisp would fly through it and the gates would turn off...weird

the game behaving kind of glitchy on ps5 almost everytime not showing the o or triangle and some other weird stuff. Sometimes the shaman staff is missing on the same place as shown here, looking for it on another place next time, pretty annoying, because it will need a new playthrough. update: Actually thanks i have the platinum now took me still a couple of hours but ok.
