I'm so glad this exists. When I heard IWABO's "Hail Mary," I was blown away by the direction of the album, especially with the vocals. I did feel, however, that with how she sounded, she could do more. Not in a "she didn't do enough" way, but that I was eager to hear her full extent. When I came across Spiritbox, I instantly thought the vocals sounded similar to Hail Mary before knowing it was the same vocalist, but I thought, "These are the vocals I wanted to hear out of Hail Mary." So when I did realize it's the same vocalist, I became enamored. I love hearing the passion and connection in this, I love the fluid aggression and dancing around the lyrics. I'll follow this project so long as it exists.

Inspiratory vocalists like Chester, Cris, Layne, and others set very high levels for the next generation. You, my dear, have met that level, and then some. I don't have the right words, but the closest I can come up with are Divine, Passionate, Poetic, and Truly just "Abstract Connectivity". The lyricism has been phenomenal, the melody and music throughout always intertwining like a never ending hymn for the feelings showcased by Courtney's Words and Vocal Performance, the sorrowful, but not quite upsetting (but moreso, understanding the reality) tone. It's this distinction of what Love, or at least loving a certain individual or thing, offers to this person who is caught in the midst of their connection [to the person or thing], and their realisation of how impending it has been revealed, to continue to associate [with it]. So many stories can be born of, or related to these lyrics. This was an experience.
