Obviously well sung and played as you would expect but it feels as if the organist is just a shade slower on the tempo than the choir in this recording and it makes it sound slightly disjointed.

It might be a strategy to pull the trebles back between verses (and arrest their tendency to gallop ahead)?

Polished performance but... it doesn't really work! Quite a bit too slow & polite. Loses a lot by lacking percussion & the percussive attack of a piano (which is what's specified in the score).
