Spironolactone is given to males that want to transition to females. Does it work for hair regrowth? Yes. I've seen pictures of balding men who transitioned to female and their hair loss was reversed to near perfection. But this is a step too far for me. I'll just stick with Finasteride, minoxidil and hair transplants to maintain my hair.

Is Fluridil similar to Spironolactone? I know it can be used topically just wondered if it worked in the same sort of way and can also be seen as a safe adjunct treatment.

Hi em not an expert but if the area of hair loss is more and if u wish to get more coverage then combination surgery is better u get more follicles and more coverage with combination surgery

25mg/day to 50mg/day for females. Rare use in males at 25mg/day.
