A stunning series showing the training program of a BoB pilot with a young man of today. Fabulous. On a recent trip a visit to the RAF museum in Hendon and just last Fall on a trip to Louth seeing the Battle of Britain Memorial in Linconshire and chatting with a tour guide who had been a crewman in a Lancaster were a great thrill. I have been fascinated with the BoB since I was a boy and this series is the best I have seen telling the story of it. Many thanks for posting it.

Very good program. My hobby is flying RC planes in the States and I love reading and watching the about the history of the models I own. Those were some very brave pilots that flew in the Battle of Britain.

I discovered this exceptional series only this morning, by now (late afternoon) I have seen all episodes. Thank you very much for putting this wonderful tribute up. Being very much involved with 1944 Arnhem Battle veterans and knowing in what way those days effected their lives up till this day to fight for our freedom, I will never take that for granted. Walking with them over the graves of their fallen comrades at Oosterbeek cemetary, I can only thank them and say: We will remember them.

Tears of joy watching Pete fly that plane after 60 years. God bless all that fought during the war to stop German and Japanese aggression.

'I had nightmares for the rest of my life'; 'A kind of scar of honour, if you like'. These men of that generation were a special breed. It's an honour just to here them speak.

I'm an avid collector of diecast model planes of WWII and after watching this series, I have come to think that SPITFIRE was indeed a remarkable machine ever built. My warmest salute to those who flew them! for the defense of their motherland!!

I had the privilege to meet Bob Doe once in the mid 80s when he visited 56F SQN RAF. I had the honour as a young Navigator to show him the cockpit of the Phantom FGR2.

Those still arrogant German pilots, who insist they won the BoB or that it was a draw, are SOOO sadly mistaken. Air supreamacy was NEVER gained and the planned invation didn't happen! DUH! As an American, I like to believe, that today's world is included in the profound speech, "Never have so many, owed so much, to so few." To those vets still living, I wish an at least confortable and peaceful life, free of any of the nightmares caused by those times. Blue skys and happy landings.
