Would you build this, or buy the DJI Transmission?

if i buy the new gimbals i'd probably just the dji version as a bundle at least, just the wireless but this is also really good, stand alone I would definitely this

Hello 👋 have you tried switching the order of the components? A7S3 > Accsoon HE TX > Atomos Ninja V :) this will significantly decrease the latency because it is running through the TX first and then through the Ninja V hence making it more accurate to pull focus. Hope this will help :)

That’s what I’ve been looking for!! 🤩👌🏻 thanks for the suggestion! Can you just use one of the screws underneath? If that’s the case, I’m going for it 😂🎥

Hey Sam! Not sure if you ever found a solution to add a handle, but my suggestion would be a rod mount on the back or the bootm with a rod mouint handle on the side.

Oh great, more money to spend! I literally just purchased the Accsoon HE transmitter and receiver for my Ninja V. Now it looks like I'm going to be purchasing this remote focus motor as well. This actually looks really cool and although all my videos are fixed focus it's enough of a pain placing my focus chart walking to the camera to check the focus, and then repositioning the chart and doing it all again to check DoF.

Thanks Sam! One question, when I use the Ninja V to record from the camera and the Ninja V to monitor from the remote, how do I play the audio on the focus puller monitor? Often clients ask why we watch it without audio when at least the audio from the camera would be very welcome for the client to watch.

I just bought the Accsoon Cineview HE and the video has a fluctuation at the edges of the objects. I tried three cameras and the problem was there. I tried a 7'' portable field monitor, an Ipad and a 70'' TV connected to the receiver and the fluctuation still there. Of course in the big TV you can see it more. Do you have an idea why this happen?

Hello Sam, Thank you for this vidéo. A wireless focus wheel seems really great 😉 I will have to wait before buying somerhing like this. But I will think about it when I will have the monétaire for it ;)

Great content as always, mate. But can you control the camera with this setup too? Apart from the focusing of course. Can you change ISO, shutterspeed and aperture?
@SamHolland2 жыл бұрын
Hi. You can press record using the wireless focus wheel but the atomos doesn’t let you control the camera. You may be able to do that with the Ninja V + ? I’m not sure

I tried to find the size of the Tilta Gear ring for those Panasonic F/1.8 primes. May I ask what is the size of the Tilta Gear ring that you are using for these lenses, please?
@matrodmedia Жыл бұрын
Order an extremely cheap flexible tape measure (made for like measuring your waist or tailoring), and then measure the actual focus ring of the lens (exactly where you will put the gear ring), take that measurement and make sure it is in millimeters, and divide that number by 3.14. Your final number is the one you’ll use to pick which tilta gear ring to get.

To be fair, most of it comes from the Ninja V. So if you already use a monitor, you won’t notice the difference.

I just got mine and I bought an Ipad 6 generation just for my clients to monitor bc from all the videos I have seen it seemed to work pretty great, but on my iPad there is a lot of LAG and kind of jittery even from 10 feet away? even on Speed setting over HD, is there something I am missing or an do to improve it?

Can the acsoon be used specifically to review footage on an iPad. Id like to be able to review my shots on a bigger screen AFTER not during the shot and trying to find a good affordable solution

Has anybody had success installing the latest firmware, every time I try I get an error saying I am not connected to internet but am connected to the transmitter and my home wifi system. Not sure if the firmware update really improves anything but there is an update but does not install for some odd reason..

Camera to Monitor to TX just adds more latency. Why would you do that? Just buy HE if you use HDMI and use the HDMI loop from the HE TX.

If you don't have $1500-2500 to drop (even the "budget build" option is that high) then use your cellphone. Canon at least has a wireless control app. It's not color accurate and it's not perfect, but it's great for any of the examples given in the video. Edit: if you're doing tons of stuff for clients then by all means get something that looks more professional, but if you're making KZbin content don't drop that kind of cash unless you're seeing returns already. My channel has already cost at least a couple grand on very, very minimal equipment and software.
