4:50 It's due to a weird aspect of the part of the physics engine that allows the ink to drip down the wall a little right after it's sprayed. Because the platform moved during the drip period, every part of the platform that passed the point that the ink was dripping onto had ink applied to it. It happens again at 5:05.

I especially agree that Tri-Sloshers are ridiculously underrated (albeit perhaps not underplayed), particularly the Nouveau variant, which has a both brilliant and unique kit that can galvanize a team almost as well as the Custom Hydra Splatling, and this on top of the main weapon's already ridiculous strengths, which you will surely cover in another video.

Dear Chugga, that line of ink is actually due to the platform moving, it was probably added by an update, to make the ink more realistic, the 'wind' and speed of the platform caused it to move. (I'm glad you started to make splatoon videos :3)

Man, I love the Blaster, but I usually like the cosmic variety just a bit more. This weapon is a beast in Tower Control, as you can see in the video, but also has its merits in the other modes (maybe except Turf War). If you can get a handle of the one-shots, and not hitting the ground or walls for that max blast this weapon is amazing. Also, Tower Control is definitely the most aggressive mode (which is why blasters are really good), though Rainmaker is also very focus objective based so a close second. Splat Zones are more toned down due to there being a wide objective to take care of (or multiple smaller ones), and Turf War doesn't have a single focus on the objective so pretty passive in general.

It's probably a slight glitch because the platforms are moving. If you ink the side of the platform while it's moving it'll streak in the opposite direction to which the platform is moving, kinda like it's being blown by the wind.You can see it again at 5:07

Sometimes if you ink the moving platforms right before they move, the momentum will actually make trails of ink before it settles on the platform. I think this only happens on the walls of them though, it's a pretty nice touch of logic.

damage up on blasters now only really helps on the furthest range of the blaster as defense up can actually lower the amount of shots if they are hit at the edge of the blaster. Really I feel dmg up works best for the rapid blasters as it can decrease the amount of shots it takes to splat if it isnt a direct hit which still requires 2 if the opposing inkling is at full hp

I think that beacons on the tower are really weak, but finding spots near to the path that are a bit out of the way is really powerful, you can basically just pressure your opponents repeatedly by keeping a jump point on the front lines and also make sure you can defend by keeping others in the equivalent spots on your side. I think that suction bombs, splat, and squid beacons are the most powerful for tower control, least the splat bombs because they are hardest to make work and most squid beacons because I feel like pressure on tower is most important. also on the subject of the thing in the middle of the tower, I run octobrush for tower control, and mostly that is because I think it is better than the splat roller for tower control, I suck at snipers, and its set is kind of amazing for tower control. but the weapon actually works quite well, mostly because I constantly shift between on and off the tower and do a little bit of back and forth chasing and sneaking to kill opponents on and trying to get on the tower. basically the thing in the middle of the tower usually does not factor into my attacks and it does offer me cover often while I wait to strike my opponents.

I see the Blasters as more like a grenade launcher. The Sloshers always seemed like the shotgun of the game: Short range, wide spread, nice damage, decent rate of fire.

TheHellspawnHero sloshers don’t play similar to shotguns at all really, the way they inflict damage is in an arch that goes over an enemy’s head allowing for damage to more than one enemy within the confines of its relatively short range. Shotguns typically have explosive rounds, but only at max range like a blaster, meaning that they can’t do as much damage in close quarters to multiple enemies. Blasters are more like shotguns. As for sloshers, I don’t have a comparison to make, but it think it makes more sense to compare the slosher to a grenade launcher.

TheWild Pikmin . You are incorrect. shotguns fire a number of small spheres called shot in a cone or a single shotgun slug. Update Rollers are closer to shotguns then blasters, blasters have close range of a shotgun but not the firing pattern. I test it and I have played a ton of shooters I know what I am talking about.
