I like that blend between the overworld view that lets you quickly move between nodes, while also being able to traverse between points from sea level view. I wonder if there are going to be some secret areas that can't be accessed from the node paths, or if there will be some shortcuts between two distant unconnected nodes that you can't fly across (like their path being blocked by a mountain) but can be navigated through some cavern network.

I think collision should be a thing. I can't remember if AC IV was the game that made ramming into other ships amazing, but being able to ram, and alternatively the fear of getting rammed by, other ships makes for a fun gameplay as well as last resort option for when you were unable to aim your cannons at

You sunk the ship, not the gunner. He’s taking shots at you until his ship sinks, it takes time.

That's a bummer with the mines, but can't you fly over them? I don't know how long you can drift in the air, and it could potentially lead to all the mines stacking (and following) under you and explode the moment you teach ground, or maybe you'll just fly away from them to safety ;)

This game looks like it has so much potential! It could easily have some RPG elements like companions and a fleshed out story! I would like the surrounding lands to be more detailed but I get that's not the focus of the game. Either way I have my eye on this one!

Actually, this looks like a very early pre alpha, where the devs still aren't sure what they actually want to make of the game, which direction they want to go. I mean, this game is REALLY weird, keeping a position save with a ship that can partially fly and be transported by baloons, and the mechanics are card based. Not sure about this one. But at least around 20% of every game you tested until now, landed on my buy list. I'd rather like a sort of free exploration, including islands, finding trasures and hidden treasure, containing rare cards, procedural generation, stronger rpg elements where you can upgrade your chars with active and passive cards, and also use them in round based dogfights and duels.

I don't know why he expects ships to stop shooting just because they are sinking, sinking ship can very much still fight. I think devs should add statuses to the ships. When you damaged ship enough (1st life bar done) than another should appear dropping rapidly (sinking status). At that time you can run and wait for it to sink or you can still fire at it to deplete this bar faster. But then there should be an extra reward for destroying ship (because you risk getting dmg) in form of couple coins (amount depending on the class of the ship). It would be also nice for low power weapons ( so machine gun and I think they have a sniper) to have higher chance to kill crew. So that you can end with enemy ship without a crew. And this should give you more bonus. So then you have a choice, do I speck in heavy weapons that destroy ship faster but I get less loot, or do I invest in small arms and risk more dmg taken but get better rewards. Of course it would also require a good shop that has iteams worth buying.

The concept for a roguelike game is; you have 1 life and if you die, you start over from scratch and no extra lives or respawn on your current run (unless unique item say otherwise but are mostly rare and 1 time use). this game is a roguelike so idk why you complain
