Tip #1: You can empty fuel barrels by opening it like any inventory and removing the fuel. It makes the barrel safe to stay around. Tip #2: If you call a Capsule you can see where it dropped on the map, it will show the location even if you didn't revealed that place (unless there is a jammer in the map).

about the drops from robots, I havent played in a while but I HIGHLY recommend amputating robot limbs and disasembling whatever you get, most of the time its just pipes and such but the heads can be valuable also yea mission difficulty is interesting, at least its marked now which is nice, sometimes its killing dudes wearing shirts who use pipes as weapons sometimes you invade an underground lab full of "pleasure" robots all armed with vibro blades

Glad you are covering this game again! I absolutely love Quasimorph and all of the updates have been good quality overall. I played a ton of this game and loved every moment! I would point out that the quasimorphosis mechanic is manageable though when you are first starting out... you will want to avoid the areas that suffer quasimorphosis. also there are a ton of hidden mechanics. E.g. those barrels that everyone should be scared of... you can loot them and take the fuel out of them to "disarm" them 😆

Hah! I've been looking forward you to doing this one again with the recent updates. I am usually not a "Berlin Roguelike" type of person but dang I love this thing. Anyone reading this should ABSOLUTELY check it out, grab a guide, and enjoy! It's punishing and it's a little bit inscrutable (especially in UI on the galaxy screens/trading), but it is really smart.

Hey Splat, great vid as usual. I love this game and you seem pretty good at it but your complain about being vaporized when opening a door seems strange to me: why won't you sneak? You avoid a lot of bad surprises when you sneak dude. Thx for the vid!!!

yo I got like 200 hours in this game! once you get too deep there isn't much to do in it anymore; story only goes so far and once you learn about classes and how they mix with SKULLs the game kinda becomes irrelevant; my goto is packrat with shotgun with the effect that summons friendly Qs out of blood pools; just walk into a pool of your enemies (or your own if your desperate) and spread it around and summon, the more summons the more allies you summon after. just spam this and you kill all the mobs in the map and any boss that spawns. and because of the packrat trait you can loot your summoned allies for Q artifacts (heals, food, Q- level decrease, equipment repair, etc) there are 3 other builds I use situationally but this one clears the entire game super easy

I played this game afew months back, I liked the combat, I didn't mind the difficulty and the need to stay ahead of the Q meter, but I can't play a game with a none existing progress system, not only u lose ur gear and loot but u lose the class exp, a losing streak might drag u all the way back to starter gear or a naked merc, looking at it now, I might try it again.

You only have a license on GOG as well, but the installer remains forever. GOG clarified their own prior media post on the matter.

I played a build where I used melee and had a bunch of dodge and it was stupid strong and fun. Only died to an explosion.

They added HP for mercs, but also tuned up numer of enemies. So much, that thye had to create new obstacle tile - pile of bodies. Also it became too grindy. After some moment you just farm missions in hopes of getting needed equioment, and as there is no longer free repair for the ship - you NEED to grind for equi and not just having couple of spares. And need to grind a lot for the uprades. And grind for rep - which is annoying as most missions for needed corporations expire in time you fly towards them. Rework of injuries made amputating own bodyparts obsolete.

This looks interesting, is it fully turn based? I usually don't buy EA games due to being burned too many times they get abandoned, but this would fit perfectly as a background game on my office PC IF it really is fully turnbased. Is it? If you stand still nothing happens right? Does it have windowed mode?

Fun game that I bought because of your videos but it has too much BS at times. Normal enemies, including basic demons, tanking things they shouldn't be able to tank like multiple explosives and bullets, just to one shot you, that will make you not want to play. Lost a major character that way setting up an explosive mine, with grenade launcher & shotgun kill funnel that should've been a great trap against Venus demons (acolyte I think) and was, until RNG decided to critically distribute damage to all the limbs instead of kiling it, meaning the limbs were all low BUT not destroyed, and the result after the stun wore off was that I haven't played again after the instant igvas kill with full health and armor. And I'm only playing it again when I finally have free time to see if cheat engine will work with it. Losing characters to the elevator bug sucks too.

This looks pretty decent, I might give it a go. It hasn't got any woke nonsense in it though has it? For instance I downloaded Ostranauts after watching you play it but as soon as I hit the new game button it then when it sent me to the character creation screen, *BAM!* Pronouns, they/them - quit the game and steam refunded straight away. They didn't even give it a few seconds before trying to push that garbage down my throat... Which is actually a good thing I guess or I may not have been able to refund it. I'm not going to support any developer who tries to force those things into games.
